I guess you could be right that the twins are younger than Imelda, not to mention they seem like they were young when they passed away (like mid-late 20s).

Poor Hector, even as a child he is clumsy.

I laughed lots with this first chapter. Poor Hector, always screwing things.

Just a small correction, if Hector called Imelda a mule, it's "La gran mula" or even "grandísima mula" (why we gender stuff, no one knos but I find easier this spanish thing than on english or japanese). With culo is... "buen culo" ("great" can be translated to "gran", "grande" or "bueno")

Imelda watches her siblings bc her dad is a drunkard or he leaves like Héctor did but only he purposely left so she helps her mother raise them. That's why she's so sour and holds a grudge when Héctor leaves
