I'm sorry for what must be a very stressful situation. If you get the chance to continue your stories that would be wonderful. If you cannot, then do not stress your mind. I myself am just now getting to the point that continuing my stories is a viable option after the death of my dad. It was three, almost four years ago that he passed. Time is needed to fix what needs fixing. Or patching, if that's all that you can do. Either way, I enjoy this story and hope that you improve in your health.
