This is honestly beautifully written. I'm not sure how I feel about Ruby freezing everyone, but boy howdy was it worth it for the amazing Team RWBY scene. I like that it's about the team instead of Jaune, even though I love Jaune too. Your choice of words, the amount of emotion behind each paragraph, the characters being wonderfully In Character... I really enjoyed this. Thank you.

The only thing I'd like changed is Jaune not falling for Cinder's bullshit.

The rest...yeah I do kind of like. Well except for the fact Ruby went down like a sack of potato's from a smack to the back of the head and Cinder taking cheap shots at my favorite girl.

Though seriously, we've seen Ruby take harder hits and he aura wasn't broken added to the fact that it was confirmed that after extensive training, their aura's are always active. So Ruby should NOT have gone down from one fucking hit!

Weiss' attitude while regaining consciousness has to be one of my favorite parts though because everyone is like "You almost died Weiss!" and Weiss calls it "annoying"

Although I wonder how Hazel didn't die or have a serious injury seeing as how Weiss impaled him through the chest with a giant ass stinger...

Finally someone added Blake! All the canon gave us was a passing glimpse. Great theory with Aura-sharing, also.

I kinda hate that this isn't canon lol. You're absolutely right that Weiss getting attacked should've been more Ruby-focused than Jaune-focused. Not even for White Rose reasons (though admittedly that'd be great for it), but because they're partners and best friends. Also, I've always wanted a real talk between Ruby and Weiss like Blake had with Yang. Sure we got Badge and the Burden, but that was Volume 1 and not really on the same level. I mean we've gotten a Weiss and Yang heart to heart at this point too for crying out loud.

I do understand the angle they're trying to go for; Pyrrha meant a lot to Jaune and it's a good parallel and emotional and all that... but when Vernal breaks Weiss' aura and it's only Jaune who is shown reacting? Not only that, but Ruby is only going silver eyes when she sees Jaune in danger? I get that Cinder is the one kinda tied to Ruby's use of it, but it just seems wrong. I don't hate Jaune and it was a great emotional scene for him... It's just that at this expense, in my opinion, it's not really worth it. Guess I'll always have nice fanfiction like this though lol.

Kinda went off on a rant, but I really enjoyed this! Maybe it got a little extra with the silver eyes freezing people (I'm relatively sure it only freezes Grimm), but we really don't know how it works and I like how touching the scene following is :) so nice job! Hopefully you can continue to fill the little voids the actual show leaves in me sometimes haha

I actually liked V5C11, but I can see how others wouldn't. Jaune isn't my favorite character, even now, and I'm not a big fan of women suffering to give men angst/determination/what have you, but I personally thought the episode was well done.

That said, I certainly wouldn't have minded if the events in this story had been the way things had gone down. You did a really good job with everything, as usual, especially the emotions everyone was feeling.

Wow. Just wow. I've been a long time fan of your works, and this is just another well-written, emotional, and beautiful story. How do you do it? Seriously! I can't even begin to describe everything good about the story on its own, let alone how it provides a better scenario for canon. Keep up the amazing work!

For everybody out there complaining about the accuracies of this fic to canon, let me remind you what site you're on: fanFICTION! This is a fan's (downright amazing) interpretation of the series and certain moments. Who cares if liberties are taken? Who cares if every character is not included? Who cares if Jaune went down like a little bitch that he has proven himself to be (sarcasm)? If you have problems with how this is written, be constructive about it. Critique things like spelling, grammar, bad descriptions, OH WAIT! This author rarely has those! If you're going to critique the story, provide alternatives respectfully, or better yet, write your own story. By doing so, the fandom can grow and everybody gets more content. If you're going to put down someone, give them something to make themselves better.

Waaaah *sniff niff*. My heart bleeds and wails. I don’t think you could have done it any better. Definitely much more emotional than the show and exactly what we needed. Lets just hope the episode 12 can some how redeeem themselves.

This is great! Was waaaaay better than that disappointing episode 11, what with the subpar fights (everyone gone back to school and back to being beginners?), pandering to Jaune (just reveal his semblance already! Which I'm sure the writers will try to make overpowering, the cliche butt of all jokes to having one of the awesome powers thing) and generally bad writing all around. To those people on Tumblr, yes it could have been done better. Just look at this!
