Really nice story. They're an interesting combination and in many ways it makes sense for the two to be together. They balance each other out nicely. Both characters are very believably written too, never really straying from the essence of the characters as we know them onscreen. Well done. I particularly liked Morgan in his scene with the two of them. He made some valid points, but I guess so did Garcia. Love him for looking out for her even if it is patronising and unwarranted. Glad she called him out on it. There's a very 'old Hollywood' feel to the whole story probably because Hotch and Garcia are professing undying love for each other despite having only kissed a few times. There's something desperately innocent and old fashioned about that, given that most people take the car for a test run before they buy these days... I hope things go well for the two of them 'next weekend', haha!

This was such a sweet little chapter (when I say little I don’t mean literally because it was a good length) I never realised how good this pairing was.

I do love me a good romance. While I have always enjoyed the interactions of these two, I never really imagined them as a couple. But after reading this story, I could see it happening. They do have a lot in common; they both like or liked acting, they have a strong love for family and are both fiercely protective.

I love that Jack was included in the decisions about Penelope. At first I couldn't quite figure out how old he was as sometimes it felt like he was 5 and other times much older. Then, when he said he was 10, it all made sense. I have a 10 y/old god-son and he responds the same way Jack does. Good job, writing kids is very difficult.

Loved David Rossi. I think you got his character spot on. Dave is the all-knowing and all-seeing. Had he felt this was a bad thing he would have said so earlier. However, he knows what his friends need and is there to support them.

Morgan is the only one I feel was a little off kilter. I would have expected this reaction from him earlier in the timeline, but at this point, where he is with Savanah, his reaction would be different I feel. I think he would be less aggressive about his protectiveness and more likely would have spoken to Penelope rather than Aaron. But, what you have here works just fine.

Overall, I think you have a great story and if you feel inclined to write more with these two, I would be very happy to read it.

Jack is adorable - making kissing noises! I am glad the team found out and they were upfront about their relationship. Penelope lecturing Derek is just perfect!

Ooooooooh! I honestly was hesitant about this pairing but it works and works well! They went from friends, to close friends, to best friends, to lovers (well - not yet). You wrote them both beautifully. I love that she asked if it was really a date, and how he hung on to her resume. Her overreaction to his asking if she wanted to be his girlfriend was spot on for Penelope.

great ending. Having Penelope and Aaron blast Morgan was great, he had no right saying what he did. They do make a lovely pair.

Struggling to find the words only to take charge and kiss to stop he rambling. A perfect way to spent Christmas eve.

I loved this, the show down involving Morgan was dead on and Garcia's response to Morgan's attitude was great. Christmas at Rossi's was just as I imagined it might be. I could hear the Frank and Dino Christmas music playing and smell the pasta simmering as I read this. My only suggestion would have been that Tara Lewis would have been at Rossi's too though. As part of the team she would be part of the family. Other than that I loved it and would love to see more of the courtship of Aaron and do the Brooks clan feel about Hotch moving on, will Penelope get in MRS. Brooks face about his parenting skills and her continued blaming Hotch for Hailey's death. Also, it's one thing to say we can handle things professionally but what happens when Hotch is actually out there in the field facing danger now that their together? That can change things.

Oh, that's so sweet! Anyone who can make Hotch smile more, should stay at his side! :)

And Morgan is like an overprotective big brother. ;)
