This has some of the best dialogue I've seen in a fanfiction. Incredible job.

The confession was beautiful. I don't really see that many instances where Megumi is the one to confess-well, confess first I mean, since she didn't get to finish and all-and it was both hilarious and adorable. I especially liked the part where Souma doesn't experience a mind-blowing epiphany or something like that during the kiss, because their relationship has grown to the point where affirming their love for one another is just the cherry on top. Slow-burn is always my favorite kind of romance, and Souma and Megumin is one of my favorite couples. Thank you for writing this.

You know, the series didn't really go into Jouchiro's family that much. I'm glad you went into more detail here. Also, for a person that didn't read the manga, you got Souma's mom pretty spot-on.

geez, reading this again for the umpteenth time... and I can still picture isshiki-sempai pulling out a feast for everyone, and a cake that says 'FINALLY!" with banners of congratulations everywhere, once he finds out about Souma and Megumi whilst the others are a mix of dumbfounded and relieved that the couple finally got together.

KILLER LAST LINE! I loved it and hated in q equal measure how that elicited such a teenage squeal from me. This is undoubtedly one of the better made fanfictions about this pairing. Kudos!

(Aside from the dad ofc) The anime/manga seemed so obvious that they were usually paired together and always comfortable around each other, that'd be shipped together as well, and I was all for it, but now people are saying the manga looks like Souma/Erina? Nooooooooo
Anyway really lovely story. I love it.

it's sweet but Megumi is a bit ooc and i wanted to see their friend's reaction to Soma going to Megumi's home and meet ger family and tease them and also their reaction to their relationship.
