Oh, I've really enjoyed these two stories. I know you're busy with other fics, but I *desperately* need continuation of these. It'd be so interesting to see how their beginnings at Mason Industries/time travel would be different if they had this backstory, especially if it wasn't very long at all before they rekindled their intimate (physical and emotional) but were hiding it from everyone. Puh-leeeeeeeze write more! I'll send you treats...

I wondered as I read Bittersweet Solace, what is going on in Lucy's mind? What made her step up (in both senses) to Wyatt and persist when he was less than forthcoming at first, because it isn't something I'd imagine Lucy would typically do. And you've written a companion piece about exactly that! You make it work just as well as the first piece and it is just as lovely. Love the Epilogue!

My, oh my... can you imagine how quickly these two would have been bedding each other in canon if they had this little bit of precious history shared between them?! It was really illuminating to get inside of Lucy’s head before she ever approaches him at the bar, because as much as I’m pro-lyatt in just about any scenario, the lead up here helped to ground Lucy’s character in reality ... between the immediate ogling when he entered to the Amy-voice in her head and the colleague who encouraged her, its easier to see her motives when she slides up to the bar and puts herself out there. A fun read :)

Thank you for this gift! I can so see both our forlorn soldier and self-sacrificing historian come together this way. So lovinggiving both, despite their fears about what the other could return. And the chemistry between them..Thesestories are such a beautiful matched set. So well written, sexy but wholly tasteful. Another great tale. Thank you as always!

Love that we got to see her side of things and how she ogled him from afar for an hour, lol. Also nice to see the epilogue and that they remember each other years later. Methinks if that had played out before season 1, they'd be back in bed together before Judith can mention it in Vegas!
