I LOVED what Sonic said to Alexis at the end about her powers. She is a very overpowered character in a way, so I think that helps balance things out and hints that there's still alot up in the future. :) I'm definitely curious about the next book!

Sonic "meh-ing" at Eggman's trump card for his trump card cracks me up so hard. XD Great finale! I'm kind of a morbid victory person, so I was hoping the battle might require more sacrifice, but it was still fun seeing the three of them working together in Super mode.

Alexis' Pheonix form is neat! I wish I could see a picture. :)
I kind of felt sorry for Infinite at the end there...but not completely either. *nod*
Squad H escaping from the exploding reactor was fun! XD
WOAH, I am impressed with Eggman keeping the real Phantom Ruby hidden...I have a feeling this could be a rough fight...

I like how her friends encouraged her like that. :] XD And Sonic seeing all this before Shadow even gets it, heehe. Love that.

I don't know if you're looking for any critiques or not, but if you were planning on going back and editing this chapter, I wanted to recommend moving the description of Alexis' outfit out of the battle scene to somewhere else, since that slows down the action.

But anyway, looking forward to seeing what happens. :) These characters are great

Haha! XD I loved this chapter! Your version of these characters are so fun. They have great humor. Shadow is one of my favorite. Sonic and Sally kissing was awesome, and then them all booing Eggman with Classic holding up his "BURN" sign. XD Very good. I love it when they're all together like this and playing off of each other.

My favorite part is just seeing Sally and the other Freedom Fighters though. 3 That makes my day. I like your version of them. It's neat seeing them all together.

Well, I must say... this was a nice finale.

The Resistance has decided to help rebuild the world, The Freedom Fighters are off to explore, and now Sonic and Alexis are off to find the latter's parents. That should be a cool concept to explore for the sequel.

Overall, this was a great Sonic Forces rewrite. I loved the inclusion of the Freedom Fighters in here. They had a bigger role than I expected. That was great!

I really hate to do this, but something you can improve on in the sequel is Alexis. Don't get me wrong, I love her... but I think she took up too much of the spotlight. Almost every single scene involved her, preventing some other characters to have their own moments in here. Since she is part of a group with Hopscotch and other characters, I would have liked more focus on them, the canon characters, and the villains instead of everything be focused on Alexis.

Something you can improve on the sequel is focus on the other side characters as well as the canon characters. You have many characters to play around with, Alexis doesn't have to be part of all of it. Give her a chance to rest while you allow other characters to develop.

Other than that, cannot wait for the sequel ;)

Well, we come to the end of this story. This was a great ending to read. I love the fact, Sonic and Alexis are going to be heading to Knothole to help aid in its reconstruction.

Overall, you did a great job with the story! I'm excited for the sequel, which I'll be sure to keep an eye out for once its published.

This was a great story! I am interested to see what the second book will bring.
