Aww...I read all three of your chapters all at once, so forgive me for only giving you one review, but this was excellent! I love that you wrapped up this fun, amazing story so nicely, and that Ichigo and Rukia ended up together like that should have in the manga. Every step along the way, your characterizations have been right on point, and I could see and hear all of them in my head just the way there were in the anime. Lady Fumi turned out to be the unknown stand-out in this story though, and I love the way secondary-or even tertiary-characters can do that.

Such a great story! Thank you so much for writing it, and for guiding it to such a satisfactory close.

Wow I loved how you ended it! That’s something I can picture them doing, getting married when they wanted to instead of waiting the five years they were told to.
Though, can you imagine if she had told Isshin! He would have been in soul society before anyone knew it going on about how his son didn’t love him cuz he didn’t include him in his wedding and made him lose his bet. Of course, that would have been after he told his girls in order to get Yuzu on his side since she missed it too. Lol

If I'm understanding this correctly her brother wasn't in on the kido bomb idea. I'll give him credit for not being that evil I suppose. How embarrassing and disgraceful for her family...I imagine all the other noble houses will want to associate with them as little as possible from now on. Good going Nana! And speaking of nobles, WTH are with those other girls wanting to get together with Ichigo in the Living World. Holy shit! They probably would've stalked him, huh? He's just an accessory or merchandise that they're trying to acquire! The gall! And who the heck supplied them with the spirit phones? I hope they find out and put a stop to it. But daayyyuuummm, Mizuiro! So smooth! Soul Society really is heaven for him. *chuckle*

I'm all for Fumi-obasan as soutaicho. I'd like to see her grill Kyouraku. Nanao would be so happy.

I wish I could see Keigo screaming while riding on Ishida's platform thingy. That scene just sounds so funny. BTW, where's Kon? Has he been mentioned in this fic? I can't remember...I'll have to go back and reread...

Ichigo's gift is so sweet and thoughtful. I got all teary eyed when she saw what it was and the whole significance of it. And judging from all the IR poems Kubo had given us over the years, I bet they're all so sappy and lovey and touching and heartwarming. But knowing that IR also isn't so saccharin-sweet I'm sure he threw in a few funny and teasing ones too. And sounds like Rukia's already attached to the book. GAAHHH! My OTP's too much for my heart sometimes! I feel like both Kukaku and Isshin at the same time. And that very last part with Ishida...That's funny! I'm not sure though if he's right. I think I'm with Kukaku on this one. I've no gold coins but I'm betting a handful of green and orange gummy bears that they'll wait till Ichigo graduates from uni.

Oh shit...I didn't expect someone to take out Ichigo so violently! Like, I knew they'd be gunning for him but with kido bombs that Rukia would handle herself? That's got to be one of the stupidest ideas anyone could come up with. And it's not like no one would know who gave the gift. *smh* Money can't buy intelligence or common sense, for sure. So is the guy who gave her the paper weights the same guy who told his sister to come onto Ichigo? I'm guessing yes, as a way to piss off Rukia so she'd throw those things at him. I hope to god that suitor feels every single petal from Byakuya's zanpakutou. And for Rukia to introduce Sode no Shirayuki to that dude's sister. That'd be fun to watch.

Damn, Fumi-obasan is hella scary. O_O If even Byakuya, Isshin, Yoruichi, AND Kukaku defer to her then she's not someone to be messed with. I pity, but not really, that suitor. And those other 3 or 4 who are left better take notice when she goes off.

Well this was just a lovely epilogue. I'm so happy you came back to finish this story!

Wow, you are quick. Wasn't expecting another chapter and the epilogue back-to-back. So sweet of Ichigo to gift Rukia with original poems all hand written. What a way to end a fantastic story, I love Fumi-san being in on the bet on when they'd get married and being the only one who called it. I can't wait for your next IchiRuki story.
