I’m interested in where you want to direct the story. As in what is the next end goal/checkpoint. Cus the “original” one was getting Jaune back to Remnant, and right now we are seeing the after effects. What’s next? Will it continue into something else like bringing other world tech to them or maybe he keeps jumping worlds every now and then.

Or will it end here after the interview?

As for the army, I am looking for a same job in my place although I am not too sure for that now. Even as non combatant.

A BAR makes sense for Jaune to use. It's what the Americans used back in World War 2.

Trust me Homie, I know how you feel. I'm nearing the end of my contract with the Navy, and I've hopped off the, "O-RAH!" train about a year in. Unfortunately, I'll probably be re-enlisting since my rate has a pretty substantial re-enlistment bonus, but It's only for three more years.

My only complaint for this chapter is how the hell did Ruby modify a sword and shield to turn into a BAR? I know that Mecha-shift weaponry in RWBY are pretty wild, but a Sword and Shield, neither of which have working gun components on them, turning into a LMG is pushing against the suspension of disbelief pretty damn hard.

Now to kick Cardin's ass for his blatant racism towards Faunus.
