I like Manon very much, even though Alix is ready for some space from her. ;) I know she's looking out for what's best for Alix, and I suspect she's going to help get these three together even if they never figure out that she had a hand in it. ;)

I'm so glad Sigrun is okay - love her! - and I like the way the bond has been strengthened between Alix and Anders. All three of them are lovely and just what I needed today. :)

Thank you for the wonderful, wonderful story. You hit ALL my favorites with this: A Caron, Nathaniel and Anders of Awakening and then added the gorgeous imagery, the wonderful traditions (I loved the opening where she is opening up the delicate ornaments that have been added to over the generations, the small clay figures) and the lusty turn of events when a beautifully realized Nathaniel gives her a most precious gift, with the help of Anders.

You couldn't have written a story more perfect for me and if you ever want to write more, I'll happily read them.

I just loved this and would happily read more Alix any time! I enjoyed the First Day ornaments and the Orlesian traditions, and Nate and Anders were deliciously hot and adorable. A perfect Christmas story!
