I love this! I enjoyed every minute of it. Jon being annoyed with Kate was kinda funny cuz honestly if I were him I'd feel the same way in similar circumstances. :'D I loved the ending:-) nice work!

So, the opening line and just that entire bit with Jon complaining to Ponch in general just made me so happy. :-D And Ponch just yelling right into Jon's ear! :-D
As sad as it sounds, that might actually just be my favorite part of the story, just because that's how life works so often! :-D

I feel bad that Kate was so insecure that she started changing her behavior out of jealousy. I can understand it in a way, though-gotta mark your territory, I guess.
It's not like Jon's the type to get around, though-not like Ponch!-but then again, they've only been dating for a short while, so it makes sense that she'd react that way.

Another favorite line: Jon's crack about her lying to an officer of the law. That was funny and so perfect for that moment! :-D

I liked the way that Jon shared his special spot on the beach with her. It was nice to hear him talk about his own struggle to fit in at first and the conversation was a really good insight into his character and his feelings about Kate-the way she reminds him of home, etc.
And of course, the ending with the fireworks was very sweet!

And I know this sounds silly, but I just really liked the way the title for this story matches up with the previous one. I just think it's super cute and I love it! :-)
