Just hear me out, because this first part might set the wrong tone until you figure out what I mean. But. I think you might have ruined the show for me. There. I said it. Now I'll explain. See, I haven't actually watched Supergirl yet. Like, at all. Not one single episode. Pictures just sort of popped up on instagram search a while ago due to other, similar shows I'd searched for and when that happened again and again it made me curious. About Supercorp especially, because I'm a complete sucker for bad guy good guy impossible relationships (the bad guy who has good in them, or someone who used to be a villain blah blah, you know what I mean). And I get the feeling Lena has a villainous streak, no matter how good and understanding she's made out to be in most Supercorp fanfics, where writers seem to want to focus solely on 'happily ever after'. Not that there's anything wrong with that, it's just... too easy, for my taste. I need more than cheesy fluff to be interested for long. But anyway, curious about Supergirl because of coincidences. But for some reason, instead of just watching the show right away, I went to ffnet. Probably because the show wasn't easily accessible to me, at the time. I'm aiming to change that, but here I am. Reading this fic from beginning to end with barely a bathroom break. And I think you've effectively ruined the show for me because now I probably can't watch it without thinking, 'Hey, that's not how it happened!' Because the events of the show (obviously) won't play out as they do here. And that will probably disappoint me. Soo... Good job? I guess? Yeah. That is what I'm saying. Good job. Can't give you much in the way of constructive criticism about keeping characters in character (for obvious reasons), but you have a nice grip on English, you use the characters well without being too nice to them, you try to keep things real and keep the plot in check and easy to follow without giving too much away. And you kept me thoroughly hooked through it all. Plus, loved your humorous little notes.

Wonderful story. I adore how the loved ones in Kara’s life help her through her pain and despair. Alex, Lena, and Shanoa were my favorites. The romance between Lena and Kara was so good.

Thanks for the story. It was unexpectedly, very detailed on certain parts: Like the vampirism, the crime fighting scenes, and the dialogue amongst the other characters. I stayed for the Kara and Lena content, because that's what I was interested in.

Well...several of those comments that Kara eavesdropped on (rude, by the way :P) didn't even have her name mentioned. They could have been talking about some other individual. :P

Nooooo. That Sara-girl needs to calm down and keep it in her pants. There's only one girl for Kara (even though she hasn't reached that point yet) and that's Lena. Damn those other women. I'm here, trying to patiently get through all these non-Kara&Lena chapters. *sorrowful sigh* They need to get out of the friend-zone soon.

At this point, I'm curious to know what's so special about Lena's blood. Why is Kara all of a sudden drawn to her (apart from the obvious reasons).
