Thank you. I haven't watched the episode. I don't think I ever will. I haven't watched the show in years, tbh, because I couldn't stomach what he'd done to Sharon anymore. (Never a righter call, in hindsight.) But... She still meant SO MUCH to me, and I've read all the episode summaries because I couldn't quite let go of her and it made me so, SO angry, because that's not what Sharon would do. THIS is what Sharon would do. She would do everything she could to stick around, and if she couldn't do it, she'd at least want her family to be able to say goodbye before she died. There were SO MANY STORIES left to tell with her, and I just... She deserved better.

I really love the subtle differences in dynamic she has either each kid here. They're so brief, but so fitting. And Andy-I bounced pretty hard off of this ship in canon, but I actually really like him here. They have an intimacy that's so lovely, and he's so supportive. I wish, once they'd committed to going this route in canon, we had been able to see some of these moments on screen. This is the kind of partner that she deserved.
(Is the book he's reading to her real? It sounds interesting!)

Anyway, thank you for writing this. I think it's what we all needed.

That was really sweet and very hard to read. I think I started reading fanfiction too soon. But it was perfect.
