Hoh, what an interesting story. It's not very Harry-like, but in a universe in which he'd still be his younger self, this could absolutely happen. It would have been so much easier for both of them (in the main story) if they had come to understand eachother earlier (aka while still alive). I love how fanfiction can bring us there. :) Thanks for sharing this story!

Great story, though I still don't think it's fully explained why he enjoys it. Is it relaxing to him or is it because he's getting to clean without it hurting as much? Either way this was really nice!
