I'm late to the party, but I loved this story. Kind of wished we could have seen one of the Reagan's reaction to the Christmas tree in Jamie's apartment. I admit that if it weren't for my nieces, I'd probably wouldn't put up my decorations as well. I loved the second half of the story. It brought back a lot of memories of Christmas morning. I used wake up at 3 am from all the excitement and anticipation. By 4:30 I was out of bed and watching cartoons at a low volume. By 5:30 I would slowly raise the volume of the television, and move around more. If I wasn't able to wake up my 3 siblings or parents by 6, I'd start pulling out pans (loudly) in attempt to start breakfast. This always got my mom up. I don't know how my parents managed. Great story, I loved it. And my family has very similar traditions including cinnamon rolls for breakfast.
