Umehito, effing breaking my heart, man! YOU FOOL, GO AFTER HER! This is some of the best fluff I've ever read. Can't let them get too comfortable, now, though. I shudder to think what the other Hosts are planning, next. I can kind of see Haruhi cracking, first, and letting her feelings slip to the surface. I'm very much enjoying your story. Oh my gods. I love this story. You’ve done a masterful worldbuilding and have built up sides of the characters that I haven’t seen done before. I particularly like how you amplify the traits of the host club characters without making them unbelievable. I was worried for a while it would become some sort of yandere situation but you’ve pulled off the realism very well. I’m excited to see how this progresses and the slow change and Haruhi and Umehito explore their growing feelings.

I’m not sure if you’d be open to it, but I believe a way to have the debt be paid off and additional protection is for Lobelia to be brought in. While intense the Benibara is still a high society lady and would feel sympathetic to her plight. Of course seeing the black magic club profits go towards alleviating the debt would work too. Would you consider making some of it public to the higher society, such as the unfair debt manipulation. It could earn her favour with families. Oh I just don’t know. I’m very excited to see where you go. Please please continue this. I’ll follow this story until the end! (Which I hope takes many MANY chapters)

Oh man I really wish/hope that someone else heard his words to Kuretake... And figures out how to get the two stubborn people to confess TO each other and work things out. Also wow... Host Club meltdown! I wonder what this means when the weekend is over? How will Haruhi keep out of their clutches? Will any of them try to blackmail her to come back or grovel at her feet to get her to forgive them? Will she decide to just... show up at school in a female uniform that maybe Umehito and his family helped her get while returning the male uniform to the club and maybe him offering to just up and pay her debt and work out a deal for her to pay him and his family back at her pace instead of being forced to work some outrageous deal with a constantly increasing debt/interest tacked on? Hmm...

I have to admit I'm loooooving this fic though. lol I cackled when they started their revenge plan and the subtext between Umehito and Kyoya when Kyoya tried to get Umehito to leave... and I loooove how Renge didn't get super upset that Haruhi was a girl (since I know she had a bit of a crush on 'him' in canon at some point) and was all for helping them out... and man, the story they could spin with the eventual reveal of her gender though... the "forbidden love" as he tried to befriend Haruhi/court her when she was hiding as a man because of the greedy Host Club members... oof. XD

This story is really fun to read, has a great plot, and character development! (It also isn't as terribly written as 75% of the fanfiction that exists) great job Author! Can't wait for the next chapter!

Wow... That was hard to read. It made my breath stop and my heart hurt. This is the confrontation that Haruhi needed. I'm glad she said her piece and even told off Mori and Huni. Can't wait to see how the Hosts take what she said hopefully have a change of attitude.
