i loved tarkin’s decisions in this chapter. i’m too dumb to understand everything in the imperial council thing but those interactions were really interesting. the premise of this fic is so good. the writing really feels like tarkin’s thoughts.

I don't know know why you have so few favourites and reviews, this is good enough to be considered a novel in its own right. Your characterization is on point, you describe imperial politics, hierarchy and battles perfectly. This is a great what-if situation, I've never considered the huge ramifications Tarkin aborting the shot would have on the galaxy. I really hope you continue this.
