This is such a good fanfic. I’ve read a lot over the past year or so; and yours is definitely one of the best and one of the favorites. It doesn’t sound like the story was completely over, and I’m sure there are a lot more people beside me that would thrilled and ecstatic to see more come. Please come back and write some more.

So I just read all 23 chapters in less than a day! I really love this story! As an adult who fell in love with what is basically a children’s/young teen’s cartoon it’s really great to read an adult version that catches my attention even more! (Especially since no adults versions will ever come to be in a cartoon meant for younger kids) The story line has flowed really nicely. The only two things I’ve noticed is that I feel like their Kwamis should be in the story a bit more when they are by themselves and I wish some of their intimate scenes were a bit more intimate and “juicier” if you will. Lol Obviously not everyone because, well, they’re like rabbits, but every other few. Lol I love stories that have a good story line but also include some juicy bits. A lot of times it’s either always one or the other. With yours I feel like it’s just teetering on the edge of being a perfect balance of both! I see you haven’t added in a while but I really hope you find to right more soon because I’m dying to read the rest!

This is the first fanfic I've read in a long time and I am so glad I picked it. This first chapter was wonderful. It was simply written and yet descriptive enough that I had a clear picture of what was going on. I'm looking forward to chapter 2.

chloe at least had some closure here and I like the continuity that Adrien was so shit faced he probably doesn't remember chloe showing up too well and it makes sense with what mari learned he had been doing in the week of the breakup. I like chloe being thee one to make a bigger move and concede and say sorry. its a bold move but chloe is a bold strait to the point person and I'm glad mari can feel sympathy she never expected to feel instead of just her anger. maybe mari and chloe can talk again in the future o maybe mari will make a plan to reintroduce and accepting chloe into Adrien's life as a friend.
I like mari after all they've gone through more aware she loves him and she wants to change how she responds to it. Adrien loves her and technically she doesn't need to do anything to prove herself butt I like her realizing that Adrien maybe has a few more suff affecting his civilian life and he is determined to keep him this time and go the extra mile. and I like her thinking about why and she thinks it might due with her not exactly liking confrontation. mari was a little nervous before she got alya and she was shy around Adrien so I like that character trait something she wants to improve on.
I like her thinking more about how Adrien is actually dealing with things instead of accepting hats he's fine and even though she can't do anything about it yet, she keeps productive and funnels her energy in trying to improve were she can. which means Adrien can probably expect more surprises and attempts to woo him ;3 he's been the prince of pretty words and pursuit but maybe mari can have some fun showering him with love and affection he isn't used to

is it weird I see where gabe was coming from though? Adrien IS really distracted by mari to the point he got in a car accident because he was thinking about her and he hasn't been able to focus on his job to much...I mean WE know Adrien doesn't care for his job even before mari showed up and he doesn't really want to run thee company but gabe doesn't completely know that. and gabe probably is aware the times Adrien has looked like shit were because of issues in his relationship with mari most likely as gabe still keeps tabs on his son. gabe probably doesn't want his son to throw away a successful future for some girl not realizing Adrien puts no real value n the future gabe kindof wants for his son.
also I just laughed at mari saying the worst wording of his dad breaking into her house and threatening her.
I like mari not instantly trusting his word when he says he's fine and everything is fine anymore. she trusted him saying the lie he wasn't disappointed or anything about the pregnancy scare and didn't push but here she at least could sense he wasn't completely truthful that him going to work for his dad being fine. and she appreciate him doing the big thing for her even though he pretends its a small thing.

so glad she told him about what a weirdo gabe is. its not like gabe has to worry about mari being a gold digger for Adrien fame or money or for connections. Adrien is thee one pursuing mari.
though I feel like if gabe was informed mari keeps rejecting Adrien gabe will be offended at the implication of his son not being good enough for mari. gabe seems like a confusing parent to please.

mari and Adrien still have some work to do. Adrien is more stubborn and hardheaded than mari expected and I don't think all the excitement has let Adrien REALLY believe mari loves him yet and he doesn't need to do anything to keep that love.

I wonder if maybe nino o even chloe might be more upset about Adrien going to work for his dad again like that considering they know how long Adrien fought to get out from under his dads thumb and how difficult it will be fore him to get back out. mai seems aware that the situation is pretty bad but she was nly made really more awae of adien/chat's issues after the reveal while nino and chloe were probably more aware of it since there were closer friends to Adrien than mari was who fid get closer but still had her nerves and crush as a block.

p.s. he drunk himself so ut of it after just getting out of thee hospital he couldn't even use the phone to drunk text mari for a week...someone needs to smack that boy! what if he injured himself again orrr got alcohol poisoning! o drunkenl transformed to go see her! what the FUCK! tht I the worst way to deal with sorrow! mari smack his pretty face!

p.s.s. when do yo think he'll open up and tell mari his plan to use his secret saving to by certain college courses so he can have a different career...I don't think its really occurred to mari he really doesn't want to be a rich and famous model for the rest of his life

is mari going to take another pregauncy test just to be safe? after this and take a morning after pill? and will she discovered Adrien hadn't exactly ben super honest that he was all happy/releaved she wasn't pregaunt. he was of course releave and a little happy because they clealy aren't ready but he was scared to admit a small part of him was disappointed to her. he should be scared orr ashamed to admit it to mari and it would give her a good insite o how he views things with her and how he craves love and has a lot of love to give. and she has grown a little more that I think shee wouldn't instantly snap or freak and she would listen to him describe his feelings about it like how I suspected she would have freaked before.

but then again the just got past like 3 crisis and she was able to snag one truthful main issue with him but he iss still a little stubborn. its a bit like...
...Adrien/chat on tries to be open and vulnerable with his feelings and he seems easy tto read like a nice melty chocolate cating that is deep just to dicover there is a tough cookie coating to his deepest issues and feelings and troubles that you didn't exspect. and you need to scrap and slowly dissolve the cookie coating were you get a few glimpses of the gooy sweet center but it will take a while to get through. and Adrien has been so use to people only wanting him for his chocolatly outer coating hee doesn't think orr remember the surprise flavor in thee center is worth getting to.

Mari on the other hand is very good at describing how she feels when she actually get around to talking to him. arguable she is a little less stubborn when hearing him out since she had been in denial for years so her going from having to be drunk to listen to him with the chloe incident were here it took him hounding her and a kiss fo her to be more honest how he mad heer feel and her concerns about thei relationship and the gabee situation. she at least is keep less secerts now. and I like that unlike before she is slowly increasesing thinking how things affect him a bit more. she hasn't exactly put it into action too often but here she did exspress a few of her concerns over his relatu\ionship with his dad.
she still needs to have a talk with chloe and she hasn't informed Adrien that maybe she'll try to get a tuce going with chloe enough that chloe can reenter his life as a friend(most likely because mari still doesn't like chloe and there is no guarentte this will work but the fact she thought about it more often instead of writing chloe completely as a lost cause shows mari is thinking of Adrien's feelings a bit more). mari hought of how telling Adrien could affect his relationship with his dad which shows even more mari is thinking about him and she even upgraded to pushing a bit more and askig him about how it will affect him. Adrien still a little tightlipped and still pretending he's fine when he's clearly not an hee had more thoughts on the matte but mari asking is a big step.
mari has gown from completely cutting Adrien off like she did with thee chloe incident to giving her side of things. asking about his side of things and asking even more and she was able to get him to honestly admit that apparently mari made him feel like maybe Adrien wasn't as important to mari and that Adrien the one who needed her more.
She at least helped address that fear of his with words which is the first step but finding out that fear was a big step in getting Adrien to open up about his negative feelings and getting him to realize how he feels is important as well but she also doesn't ignore her own hurt which is smart. Adrien ignoring his own hurt seems to be a problem they might to deal with in the future because some of the issues cropped up in that impulsive break he asked for that threw her for a loop.
if she had more hints about his issues maybe she would have felt more comfortable to stay and prod a bit more instead of running off feeling rejected.
maybe mari could mull over in the future what in her previous behavior may have led Adrien to think he wasn't as important to her. mari still I think in the future needs to persue him at somepoint vigorously to make it hit home that h is worth the efoort but that will be a probability in the future.
maybe mari can finally talk to alya orr someone about things to get a second o third opinion. maybe she could talk to nino and hee could give her insites to some of Adrien's issues and thought processes. after all mari has still found Adrien rathe perfect near the beginning and shee is discovering her hat is deeper than she thought and just because Adrien ays he's find doesn't mean he's actually fine.
Adrien doesn't like to be a bother so maybe he probably isn't going to admit he has a issue even if it really bothers him till it gets to big or his slipps up. even if someone asks they might need to push enough so he thinks hiding it isn't a option.
I have a feeling even if things start going really bad at his job under his dad with the three days Adrien will do his best to hide it so mari won't feel guilty an he won't rock the boat again.

Either way mari is finally open to start thinking no just of her feelings and not being in denial o running away from it but she started to realize she needs to think and take care of Adrien feelings since he doesn't seem to admit his main issues very easily and he pretends he's fine sometimes when he's not. and I do think its finally REALLY sunk in how much Adrien loves and is willing to go through for her in that last big paragraph on this chapter which I really like. it helped mke her feel more secure since that break up rattled her but this was the proof she really needed. no she knows just how far he's willing to go for her.
Now she just needs to show him somehow, how much she cares and she will to do for him. and that he doesn't need to sacrifice so much to win her love or some such.
that he doesn't need to earn it because he already has it.
