what an incredible and intense ride! the story really had you emotionally all over the place. I loved Snape's POV, his dark humor, self hatred, and internal battle of wills was like an amazing train wreck to watch... completely compelling and unsettling. amazing work! i am so pleased i stumbled onto your work! xo, J

this story is beautiful in its savagery. the intensity of their desires and self loathing drips from every sentence. the bondage, the force, the submission to self and to other, the back and forth between them; her dominating him in mine, him dominating her with his body. it's amazingly well written and evokes strong feelings of both lust and disgust. incredibly done. this is what 50 shades aimed to be and missed by miles.

Wow, great remarkable story. I stayed awake reading this completely captivated. I haven't stumbled across a masterpiece in a good while. Your words flowed smoothly and descriptions were spot on. Then to find out the truth and how it is being written was genius. Great story telling that can be hard to find from time to time here. I loved this and only hope others take the time to read it. I am usually not into the detailed smut of someone being thrown into the pain but it was all perfect to the story and character struggles. Maturely done which is another hard to find from time to time. I am carrying on but I do hope to read more of your SS/HG stories. I Love how it ended with the not so typical crap many seem to think means happily ever after of babies and tripe. Thank you so much. Applause from this corner!

You know... When I started reading this, I was looking for smut. Complete and utter kinky heaven. And while this IS all of that, it is also filled with such beautiful words. It’s almost like poetry. There is such a wonderful vulgar-ness. I’ve read more than my fair share of ss/hg fics over the years, and there are very few which inspire this intense vulgar poetry. Well done.

Votre histoire est puissante et elle aurait pu s'arrêter au 5ème chapitre, cela n'aurait rien enlevé à l'intensité de la relation qui unit nos deux personnages même si elle apparaît un peu pervertie.
Cela dit le 6ème chapitre vient l'adoucir et je l'ai aussi énormément apprécié.
Mise en abîme de leur histoire à travers l'autobiographie que Severus est en train d'écrire (de manière très serpentarde !), c'est très fort. Bravo !

Such an intense chapter!

This story was really quite good, even as I cringed at how they treated each other at some points.

That being said, however, I'm not sure you could put this story in the category of "humor." I'll give you "romance" of course, but I kept waiting for a moment when it would make me laugh out loud, and that moment never came. There were moments when I snorted or chuckled a little at a few things said or done by one of the characters, or at a particular bit of mental wittiness expressed in Snape's thoughts, but to me those were brief moments of levity to keep this story from being too dark all the time. I would have put this story under "romance/angst" rather than "romance/humor".

At the same time, though, I have to admit that it's possible I might not have chosen to read it at all if you had put it under "romance/angst" because as disappointed as I was that the laugh-out-loud moments never came, your story was compelling enough that I did eventually read it through to the end, and I did appreciate what you did with chapter 6, making it seem as though the darkness of chapters 1-5 were just Snape's way of telling the story, leaving out most of the tenderness of their relationship.

I’m so excited you’ve moved over to FF. The Fool, etc is one of those stories I see constantly recommended on tumblr and Dramione Facebook groups. I read it on another site, which is very rare for me by the way but I was so glad I did. Now I find you have many other pieces to explore! Thank you for making the move and I’m intrigued to see where this one goes
