Great story! Wonderful alternate version of 4x23! It felt very true to the characters, and was a perfect way to resolve Rick’s anger and fear.

I loved this story for so many reasons but this is at the top of the list.
"You stay."

It's probably impossible, but she thinks she feels a smile when he kisses the top of her head again. "And for the rest of your life?"

She reaches back and finds his hand one more time, clasping it in hers.

"You stay."

Oh, I really liked this one! So glad he came to her place and she asked him to stay for tonight, for the rest of her life. Is there a possibility of revisiting this AU?
