I have no words. This story was so sad, and the ending so bittersweet. You really captured Sasuke's emotions well and I especially loved when his sharingan activated. That's one of the underrated things about them, I think.

That was so unusual, and I enjoyed it A LOT.

First of all, I really enjoy the premise of Sasuke staying a missing-nin. Sakura encountering a missing-min Sasuke is my favorite motive, a due to canonization, those are hard to find in recent years. Also, them being really adult allows for all the burdens of ninja live, and higher consciousness of how screwed up everything is to come into play (in contrast to how such meeting would go down in Oto-times for example)

I started reading knowing it’s sasusaku, yet for a long times you had me in the dark how and why would they meet. That was fun, it wasn’t predictable in the slightest!

At some point I was sure that it would be Sakura behind the doors, so that wasn’t a shock, but when she stood up and so casually found the window despite being blindfolded - that came down like a really hammer. I was NOT expecting that she was a regular there...

Good stuff also with Sasuke being actually afraid of her.

Sakura’s feelings about why she attends blue room (voiced only through “I want to forget”) and put into correct context only because Sasuke knows her so well - that was so painful. But this knowledge (plus what could be read from the marks on her body) was also so welcomed, both for me as a reader and for Sasuke, because she revealed quite some of her past and of her mental state

Their foreplay was so emotional, and really unusual, because they had completely different motivation (with Sasuke knowing who she is, and Sakura not knowing). So interesting, I think I never read anything like this.

And of course - the moment of great reveal. When Sakura screams “Sasuke!” Hands down, the pinnacle of this fic. Fantastic moment, so emotional. And I got seriously spooked out at the first moment, like Sasuke. Her breakdown a moment later was heartbreaking. What a way to go down from an orgasm :((( And I can only imagine her confusion when she noticed his tears.

And then their sex turns into something so totally different... I cannot even say that it was very satisfying because it was so sad... But I’m happy for them that they had at least that. And hope finally appeared on the horizon for them :)

Generally, interesting idea with this meet-up place for Shinobi. You imply interesting social phenomenon, with civilians being somewhat “incompatible” with ninja. Plus if you have a very limited number of partners in your village, and other villages are enemies, and you shouldn’t screw around with subordinates etc... it indeed might make sense.

How did you come up with idea of “blue” room? And blue velvet box? The only thing that comes to my mind is that movie Blue Velvet? (which I never watched, btw)

Dear author, this was SUBLIME. I adore the structure of this one-shot, and how you laid out the 6 rules. I also loved the backstory for the blue room,how sasuke met Akane and found out about this place, and the vehicle used to tell readers all the way Sakura had changed. The premise of the blue room and the way it operates is extraordinary. I loved the concept of the potions and the blindfold, and while the entire story is magnificent - I was stunned at 3 specific points in the story: (1) when Sakura called out Sasuke's name before she knew who he was, (2) when one tear slid down Sasuke's cheek when the knowledge of how Sakura still felt about him became known, and (3) when he ripped that blindfold off. I also LOVED reading the underlying reasoning for why a kunoichi like Sakura would want to come to the blue room... and this line slayed me "I want to forget." I hope this is at least marginally coherent; this was such an engrossing and beautifully tragic read from beginning to end. thank you so much for writing and sharing it with us!

I had a whole review thought up in my brain but I went to do something else and now I’m back and that’s really just, my mind is blown because this is the type of dip into angst that I enjoy.
I’m going to be honest, I tend to avoid sasusaku ships writing by multisaku fans but I’m so glad to have given this fic a chance because this was an incredible read and THANK YOI for making Sakura a sub in this bondage kink au. My kingdom for submissive Sakura in the BDSM AUs. You have my heart.

Also that ending was amazing. Because it’s not really a happy ending but it still has that hope and makes me want to explore more of her alternate timeline where they do meet again like this. Amazing.

For some reason, the existence of a place like this makes absolute sense, I think the build-up of the room's concept was done really nicely. And the choice of Sasuke's perspective, seeing as he's the one able to identify her and pick his course of action even though it ends up being rule-breaking - really great move! This was such an amazing read, I loved every second of it. The emotion, it was so real and tangible. I cried, because this is something that for some strange reason, I can relate to. I too, can’t be with someone for reasons, despite both of us wanting to. So it hit very close to home. It was beautiful, it was amazingly written, and I’d love to see more of this.
