| Guest chapter 6 . 5/12 Honestly compared to your DC version this one is extremely dull. Tons of different points of view that are pretty dull, extremely slow story progression if it can even be called that and your attempts at suspense which undermine the scene you were even writing. Heck I'd call you out on poor characterisation if both Marvel and 343 hadn't utterly screwed their characters into inconsistency so I can't comment on how indecisive John is because 343 screwed him up. I can't say that Cortana keeping someone on John’s ship despite him now also having Rank. Essentially undermining his command seems out of character since 343 screwed her up. And I can't say anything about the Marvel characters behaving odd or randomly obsessive because they also had shitty writers that established canon. Either way I'm so bored and tens of thousands of words in I can't honestly say I care for any of the characters or any plot points hinted at or established thus far. You're DC story is better imo but that hasn't gone far enough for me to tell how nonsensical your plot might be there too. Not that it can be considered nonsensical given that the canon sources are universally inconsistent. |
