I actually like him. He is a lost kid. Winter had their mother (she didn't fall into alcoholism until Weiss was about ten), Weiss had Winter (who is 4~8ys older) and Klein but Whitley he, he had Noone.

Interesting idea! It reminds me of something like Umbrella Academy, but more gradual given that he still has more of an idea about the apocalypse despite possibly spending more of his time in the company than out journeying like his sister. Let's see how much that knowledge matters though...I'm excited for more!

I've actually enjoyed very much. Not many people do Whitley based stories since every thinks he's a piece of shit, but I think it's kinda like Weiss during S1 wheres there's more under the surface and I think you fic kinda captures that. I also love the fact he's a bit of a smug little shit. If you want any a suggestion for his weapon or weapons I'd personally envision him with dual white pistols like death the kid from soul eater.
