just a thought on who the narrator could be. i know you've batted around ideas of past loves, maybe someone who died or others. but have you considered it being mac who is speaking? i think that would be a good choice and it wouldn't be what everyone is expecting. they talk in the show about her psychic abilities. maybe she goes to him in some weird out-of-body type thing; that could show just how connected they really are, they're together even when they're not. that would also be why she keeps telling him not be so upset over mac, she doesn't see herself as worthy of his thoughts and feelings for her. anyway, it's just a suggestion, if nothing else, it's something to think about. by the way, the story is great!

OK...forget what I said before about "I think Diane the angel should be..." I don't think Diane should be the angel at all, but someone's Manetti suggestion sounds good, and I definitely like the angel angle. So make Manetti Harm's guardian angel or something. I think after the "Navy-Baby-Blue-Eyes," it *has* to be a girl. You just can't have a guy say that. I can't see Harm, Sr. saying that.

great story! I still can't believe he would leave mac (wait he's done that so many times before :-) But it would be nice to get them together. as you can see I'm a shipper at heart _
