jordana60 chapter 5 . 6/14/2019 This story is exquisite. It's powerful, and romantic and real, and truthful. Thank you for writing it |
Goomba chapter 5 . 6/25/2018 Thank you for a lovely depart from my day. I enjoyed your story even if I found this last chapter a bit of a cheat... too much other content, where your own story was strong enough on it's own. Cheers , Jen |
coffee-addicted chapter 5 . 6/1/2018 You gave me a great alternative ending. In my head, the baby is Jess's anyway. Pretty good characterization. |
lost0and0found chapter 2 . 3/4/2018 I forgot to tell you how much I love the fact that you get the essence of writing realistic Lit. There's no sugarcoating it, it's real and it's honest and at times messy, but that's the way life is, and those very traits make it so believable making a happy end somewhat plausible and three-dimensional. There are still traces of uncertainty but they're willing to figure them out together, which is the essence of happy end - as happy as it gets :) Again - bow :) |
lost0and0found chapter 5 . 3/4/2018 I'm speechless. And a bit teary. The good kind. My god. You are, and they are... I'm just so happy you are writing and sharing. That kiyof stuff is why literature exists. Thank you! |
lost0and0found chapter 4 . 3/4/2018 Absolutely beautiful. The characterization - so point on - the transition from friends to more than friends to parents and a family, the need to make certain clarifications because loving someone doesn't come with subtitles and concepts have to be reestablished... About what the whole package actually entices and if all in means all in. I can imagine Jess being that person for her and her son. He doesn't use labels the way most people do. He defines what family means to him in stride because he never grew up with a set definition of the concept. It made him bitter while growing up but it also brought so much freedom of perspective. He knows what priorities actually matter because he lost so much in his past, he is aware of the price. Jess was always guarded and trying not to be vulnerable but when others needed help he was generous and very subtle about delivering his help. He did it modestly, almost shyly. You've captured that very well, he feels very in character throughout this story. Everything is so perfect in this heartfelt, raely profound look at what could be to come after the reunion. I'm in love with this story and I'm struck with awe by your brave take on a very complicated situation making it simpler because when you love someone the choice isn't as much of a choice anymore, it's just what you need to do. Be there. Be that person. Just... Whoa. Amazing and exquisite. The exchange between Jess and Logan and all the emotions, oh my... Just.. whoa. |
Stellaluna.3 chapter 2 . 12/21/2017 Loved the end, with Rory showing him off around town. It's such a contrast to their first relationship, when she wouldn't let him kiss her in public at first. And I'm so glad you didn't shy away from the enormous emotional importance of what they've done and the decision they've made. There's no going back now. The "I love how you say 'insolence.' So hot," is so perfectly Jess, I don't even know what to do with myself. |
Stellaluna.3 chapter 1 . 12/21/2017 I really loved this. A gradual unfolding feels right for them, and Jess being unable to tear himself from her side in her current "predicament.". I love the conversation with Luke, who of course recognizes the signs. I love that Rory realizes what a mess she is right now, and Jess's kindness and understanding, because he was a mess once too. A second chance for both of them. Beautiful. |
Guest chapter 5 . 12/15/2017 Beautiful story. Thank you so much! |
Guest chapter 1 . 12/11/2017 This is great! |
junienmomo chapter 1 . 12/10/2017 Love the realistic nature of the request. Maybe they will, maybe they won’t, but a connection will always have to remain. |
