Aaaaaaaaw this was soooo sweet!

How sweet! OMG, I almost worried near the end there XD You're a talented storyteller, and I adore the way you can make a reader feel deeply alongside these characters. Great job~

Dawwwwwwwwwwww. I love the sweet ending after all of that up above. What a ride!

I felt Lance's third-wheelness so hard with the video game and I just want to give him a hug and never let go. You captured his feelings so well - the guilt at feeling jealous, the pang of longing, the happiness of two siblings reunited - and I love how you wrote the HOlt sibs too; Pidge so engrossed in spending time with her brother that she doesn't see how she's pushing Lance away and Matt being caught in that awkward space of wanting to be Lance's friend too but also really wanting to be with his sister. And Lance is a pretty good actor, convincing them that they should play again. Just, my heart. That whole section hurt.

And then the next scene. Ouch x 10000. I love how Lance looks at it and realizes that they're either all going down or he can sacrifice himself and he makes that call without hesitation. You are breaking my heart girl. Breaking it.

But then when Pidge gets all up in his face after cryo (and I loved when she took Lance to the ground and is clearly upset and Lance tries to flirt xDD So perfect) and starts crying I really broke. Poor thing. It really is true though; you never know what will happen in a war and any words could be your last words. And you cant take people for granted because you never know when they'll leave or something will happen. I'm so glad these two got a chance to talk it out and Lance realizes that he's not a replacement brother, he is another brother. So, so sweet and lovely.
