Amazing simply amazing. Riveting story. Seamless integration of information from multiple sources. Wonderful action. Exciting drama. Fluff, despair, and so much more. A truly wondrous read, and I can't wait to get started on Zero Mission.

I have just been tried this entire story and I am impressed with your writing and I can only hope that you were going to continue this and finish it because I find it to be amazing

So first off, I’m sorry I’m the worst about reading ever. Lol
It’s cool to get some world building in and see the perspectives we don’t get in the actual metroid games. And I think I caught a couple of references to things like Halo and DMC? Lots of expansive world building.
And yes, I did read the three chapters in the order I was supposed to. Lol. I know it’s been a while, but I remembered to. So many cool and different perspectives but now I’m dying to get back to Sammy and see what’s going on with her. Even though I know she had the two chapters in between that I had read previously.

I like that we're getting to see more of Adam here. He feels very fleshed out and human compared to, say, how Other M handled him. This feels real.

I also like what you've got going on with Ian and Samus since it seems like there was some kind of relationship. It gives her more reason to have acted out when that whole mess occurred.

In just a few chapters, you've already fixed a major issue I had with one of the games. Gotta give you a bravo for that!

Minor issue I noticed. Otherwise, a great chapter. You did well showing just how upset Samus was as she departed from the military. The interactions between her and Adam especially. I could really empathize with Anthony. Nothing more awkward than standing by as someone gets chewed out.

I also like the fleshing out of Samus' family history. It isn't something I think about a whole lot if I'm being honest. With another twenty-odd chapters to read before I'm caught up, I think I'll keep myself reading!

I was VERY surprised to find a well-written Metroid fic that isn't dead! You've done a great job with this so far, and I have a prediction to make: Samus is going to give them an access code of some type to use the comm system in her ship to get in touch with Dane or someone else.

That said, I really look forward to what comes next!

I love how Calliope IX is just kind of this ominous threat. Lol. That made me grin while I was reading it.

and the whiskey, oh my. I feel like Rhonda is rubbing off on her more than I thought... lol

Oo the last part of the chapter was so creepy. I really enjoyed it. Creepy is good. Now you’ve got me really curious what that stuff was.

Holy crap this is awesome!

I really have so many things I want to talk about, like the relationships between Samus and Maru, Adam and Ian, Shaded Whisper and Maru/Samus. The story is really interesting and new, even though it's different from canon.

I really hope to read more in the future!

I greatly enjoy the idea that for Samus to unlock her true potential, she needs to learn to be calm and meditate better.

Likewise, the interpretation that the Chozo are kinda ashamed by their own prowess at war-making and conflicted by it is a fanon that ought be canon.

Now I’m wondering if Shaded Whisper has anything to do with the “bad Chozo” from the secret memory pic of SR.

This was a sweet chapter. It was sad and poor little birb had a nightmare, but it was sweet. I like seeing her and Maru interact. He’s a good father to his little birb.
