I loved this chapter. The scene between Jaime and Jon was simply amazing, I could feel the tension and emotion throughout, especially when Jaime dropped to his knees and hoped that just once he would be believed. It felt fitting that it was Jon he was speaking to and that Jon responded with a nod of the head before Jaime swore his fealty. Even the moment before Jon receited his part of the oath back at him was fantastic.

It makes sense that Jon would give Jaime a chance, that he could see he was sincere, due to his experiences on the Wall where men are being given a second chance to serve with honour.

I'm only sorry we didn't have that in the show.

This is story is great, I was expecting some OOC characters because of the reviews but they all seemed I character tbh. The Dany fans in the reviews are so ridiculous it’s funny. I thought her characterisation was great. The only thing that confused me was why she gave the Unsullied to Jon. I’d like to read the epilogue

Actually, it was more likely that he could hear Rickard's screams, because Rickard was suspended over the wildfire and Brandon was strangled with a cord whilst trying to reach a sword.
