how have I never read this... gosh this story was amazing

this is my new favorite story that I somehow have never read. bravo. it's sweet and adorable and exactly the right amount of drama.

This was a very sweet and well written story, on of very few modern AUs that I actually like. If you wrote another like it I would be sure to read!

It is incredibly difficult to find a fic that is well-written in first person. As a writer for another fandom, I've been experimenting with different tones and methods of telling a story but I haven't dared tried first person POV yet. You did this amazingly well (and might I say, even better in "Calamitous" - so much descriptions and feelings and adequate expression of the other characters' feelings through Zelda's POV). I am so glad I found your works! They are a pleasure to read!

With "Not My First Kiss," I love how you tied in Zelda's regal family life without actually making her royalty. And how suave Link is in front of Zelda despite how he freaks out on the inside. Very cute story (especially the argument scene in the kitchen of the restaurant). It was a nice respite from Calamitous (and don't get me wrong, Calamitous is really up there as one of my favorite Zelink fanfic) and really shows your flexibility in writing.

Love the gan man line. Made me laugh

Oh my gosh, I really, really love how this story ended. The way you wrote Zelda and Link and their relationship was just so sweet and wonderful and *real* right up till the end, and the way you wrote them falling for each other over and over again with each new thing made me giggle out loud at how dang cute it was. Thanks so much for the awesome story, I'm definitely going to have to reread it in the future :)

Thank you so much for the wonderful fic, it was a pleasure to follow these two lovebirds on your voice and imagination! And I enjoyed it all, the simultaneously fluffy and serious plot, the scenery, the internal monologues, and even the rushed marriage. I am still partial to past tense in stories, but you did well with the present tense, I didn't even feel it. I just had to laugh at Zelda! The all logic girl first being insecurity in flesh and then asking to be married right away, at I don't even know how late in the day. And she called Link impulsive. But I guess she turns impulsive whenever he is involved, just look at how they met. And don't lie, Zelda, you had your eye on him the first night not because he was alone but because he was a pleasure to the eyes ;) That was a very unusual proposal, a very real one, and I loved the change. Great chapter!
