This was an interesting story. While I did want to see what happens when they wake up, I understand that you don't want to continue. Well, I enjoyed the story anyway. Thank you for writing, have a good rest of the day/night :D

Okay, so they're not dead. They can just wake up and look at each other and doubt but they can't let it hamper them. Maybe, after the war is finally over, they start to get doubtful among themselves. It's a good change of character.

That chapter was so excellent ! To see Shadow confronted by his mistakes, by his actions which were undenying wrongs before and during Sonic Forces. But in the end Shadow acknowledges that he has failed in his promise to Maria, and that part was a very touching and interresting side to read about Shadow, about how he deeply regrets to have "letting down" his friends. Because whatever Shadow says, team Dark is his family, and Sonic became his friends in the course of the sonic games. I also loved the parrallel between Shadow's and Infinite's tragedis as villains (or for Shadow case : ex-antagonist). This chapter was just perfect, and this fiction great, because I feel really pained for those fictituous characters.

This is very good! The emotions are so potent. Your dialogue being so close together is distracting, however, so I recommend starting a new paragraph every time a different character talks.

I also feel you don't have a clear ending, despite having your story tagged as complete, which could alternatively be seen as a good or a bad thing. On one hand, I as the reader can interpret what happens next, on the other, I don't get to see the author's ending. For example, I don't know what happens after the light, do they die? Do they wake up? Also, if you just accidentally marked complete that's fine too.

Anyway, this is pretty good, and you express everything brilliantly! Looking forward to more works from you!

What an ending. I loved Shadow and Infinite's interactions. Both of these guys were perfectly in character and if only the game had touched more on the fact that Shadow had killed the jackal squad.

The way that you've portrayed Shadow's angst and his confrontations with the fake Sonic wow, that just left me shocked and amazed.

If there was one thing that Forces didn't touch upon it was that everyone should've been more angry with Knuckles since it was his own shortsightedness that caused most of the resistance to die out.

You've done such an amazing job with capturing the character' personalities and Knuckle's flaws as a commander and I can say the same with Sonic and Tails' chapters. I can only imagine what Shadow's going to go through in his chapter.

Poor Knuckles he needs a hug after all of this.

This was a fantastic chapter.

Despite my gripes with how Tails was portrayed in Forces he is still just a kid and that I can't really blame him for letting his fear control him.

I like how detailed you've turned everyone against Tails and the poor fox I just want to give him a big hug and tell him that it'll be okay.

Well now then I always did find it a bit odd that after six months of torture that Sonic was his usual cheerful self.

I really like that you did a much better job then the game did with of Sonic showing his inner thoughts and feelings.
