Gideon didn't saw Reid as a person. He wanted him as his memento. Formed how he wanted. He even wanted to control his romantic life. I'm sad to day this but Hankel most likely rescued him from that fate of a puppet. And Gideon leaving, it was for the best!

Thanks for seeing his overbearing controlling self.

My goodness, I would have hoped the lies in Harry's "early years" files would have been expunged. I can see how this would not happen though, and how it would look to an outsider reading them. This was handled very well. I do hope you keep up with this fascinating series of one shots.
