Very nicely done. You got into Naruto and Kakashi's heads really well and wrote a very moving story.

This could really, REALLY use a follow up.

I find myself disappointed that this story ended so soon. I can't recall if I've ever read a 'kakashi apprentices Naruto' story before. This seems like a Kakashi that would give Naruto his all and damn the consequences too. I don't suppose requesting another chapter or a sequel would help would it? Because I'd definitely like to read more of this.

Great story!

I'm not going to lie this made me tear up a bit. People forget about Naruto's background; no family and no friends until after he became a genin. That's a sadness of 12 years and he was a child. In the anime, I really wished he was adopted into a family so he could've have a sense of family. I get that he probably wanted to show that despite everything that happened to him, Naruto still remained a good person (a reason why Sasuke was created who is his opposite and had everything but went down a dangerous path much like Gaara). I wished Kakashi, Jiraiya, and Tsunade stepped up when he was younger especially since they were the people who Minato and Kushina trusted the most but they were all selfish.

What an idiot. He'd return to a village where he's mistreated and knowingly being lied to by the leader.

This is a wonderful story. Thank you for sharing.
