I was born on Jun 15. So thank you for this birthday present update and sorry for being late. I could have thanked you on that day but due to the ban of fanfiction in Malaysia which is my country, im rarely active.

First, a disclaimer: I do not know much about red team.

The Spartans in this story are constantly giving me the OOC feeling. Such as when they casually conversed in the middle of a hostile environment when time is of the essence for their mission- the more time spent talking, the more civilians are killed. Even though these thoughts popped into both their heads, they still maintained a slow conversation before setting out again to do their duties- possibly costing tens or hundreds of civilians their lives.

Also, the emotions that they show is just and unfitting pallet for a battle. Friendship is cool and all, but don't start getting all smoochy with your friend when, again, civilian lives are at stake.

And do Spartans talk that much and so casually in the team net?

Also, the final fight scene with Jerome crushing the imp in his hands screamed OOC for me. It was an inefficient method compared to shooting or even just kicking it.

Overall, I think this story will be fan-servicing with the UNSC dishing out impressive tech and its bullshit to the natives. It's not bad. But it does not agree with me.
