Just finished the entire story. I gotta say, it's tough to Lincoln to go through all that. The crap he put up with his family with all that bad luck bullshit. Him entering a new life then immediately becoming a vigilante of killing the youth gangs. And after just two while months of not wanting to do with his family, he decides to return, under not caring. I wasn't sure I wanted to read the story cause it deals with that horrible episode. Then I notice you did a new version of Restored Image, and put up a DO NOT READ sign on the old one. I figure reading this first can focus on Lincoln's trauma as Broken Mirror in the next sequel. Great story. I'm heading to the new version of the sequel.

I noticed that you have a tendency to repeat yourself a lot. Not just in this story, but also its two sequels and Ten Reasons. You may want to tone that down.

Something else I realized: In the episode itself, when Lincoln pondered how to convince everyone that he wasn't "bad luck", he was clearly shown to be barefoot in his pajamas. So, did he walk all the way to this other city barefoot, too?

What’s up dude? I was originally going to post this as a two part review, alongside my review for Restored Image, but it’d be wayyy too long together, so here it is. Just to clarify, this is from a long while ago.
I really like the concept. Like you said, the episodes premise has been beaten to oblivion on here with different stories and ideas, but that doesn’t retract from your own idea. It’s better than a lot of the others out there. Being completely honest though, I’d say the story is average, with many very easy opportunities for plenty of improvement.
It’s a very simple story, to say the least. Very straightforward. It’s a terrible situation Lincoln was put in, and I think how he handled it in this was far more accurate than the show. Shit, anybody would give up on their family after all that.
The people who were nice to him throughout the story were people who I would realistically see doing that in the context. Ronnie Anne’s relatives all seem like very nice people, so I like that connection, and how it tied in at the end.
I think the idea of Lincoln becoming a Punisher-esque vigilante is very interesting, and fits your story’s vibe. His desperation spoke for itself, and combined with his innate desire for helping others, he did what he thought would help others the most. It was carried out well, although I wished you didn’t skip such a large portion of his exploits and acts of “heroism.” The leap forward two months was abrupt, and left me wanting to hear at least some of what was left out, like maybe the first time he killed on purpose.
I like how he leaves the playing cards on the corpses of his “victims,” honoring his favorite hero Ace Savy, and the name Broken Mirror itself is, of course, very clever and fitting.
The Ronnie Anne kidnap scene was good, and I like how Lincoln handled it.
My nitpicks would be mainly the lack of detail sometimes, and a feeling of things being rushed. I feel like some things definitely should have been expanded upon more. Also, wouldn’t Ronnie Anne have noticed if Lincoln was gone for two months? A) They were still in school at the time and she should have noticed he stopped coming, or B) It was summer and she should have been concerned when he wasn’t answering his texts.
The story was enjoyable overall.

...you know, I encourage the idea of a story where you tell what happens to the Loud family and Lincoln's friend during the runaway. I'm really curious.

Okay, I know that the story has moved on, and you’re working on restored image, but I have a small request. Do you think you could do a quick chapter telling how the loud house was during Lincoln’s absence? I kind of wanna see how everyone reacted when Lincoln ran away, and how broken they were for the entire time. Completely up to you though.

This was a very well done fic. It managed to be unique and engaging despite being a NSL Loud house story.

Interesting story, though I'm not too sure about the rating. Yes, there's swearing and murder, but M-rated stories - like R-rated movies - tend to be rather over-the-top by their very nature. I didn't find anything over-the-top in this story. Read: NOTHING.

So, yeah, you may want to rethink the rating. Maybe T? Just saying.

i don't want to nick pick but what's with lh authors using words like delinquents and youth gang lol i can understand the adults saying it but younger ppl just say gang, gangbanger, thugs, dickheads, niggas anything but this pg Disney stuff
