AHHHH PERFECTION. I WOULD READ 100,000 WORDS OF THIS

OH MY GOD THIS IS PERFECT! the whole thing is perfect; Draco's personality, Ginny's stubbornness... ugh everything! I just love the story!

OH MY GOD SOPHY I DIDN'T KNOW I NEEDED THIS UNTIL NOW BUT I FUCKING SHIP IT HOLY SHIT.

Okay, okay, Abby breathe. This review is going to be a wild ride my dear, there's no way I'm doing anything but screaming and fangirling.

First off - mad props on writing Draco so well. I think sometimes his mix of sarcasm, bitterness and angst can be difficult to pull off, but you did it masterfully. It felt absolutely perfect, in fact all of them felt so in character - particularly Ginny which I want to kiss you for. She's so much better in canon than the movies, that's just a blatant fact.

Anyway, rambling. I love how they, just as the title suggest, slowly immerse themselves in his life. I'd love to have been a fly on the wall when Ginny & Harry were discussing their method of attack, and the fact that Ron/Hermione seemed to be in on it too made it even better.

When I started reading I anticipated it being Draco/Ginny which I can appreciate but I was dreading some sort of Harry!Bashing, messy break up. Instead you just delivered absolute perfection and I think I have a new triad I adore.

Now I normally can't stand Hinny, but I found Hinco to be a surprisingly enjoyable triad. And I'm not normally one for triad. I love how you characterised them all. I feel it was very accurate and it's a little headcanon of mine that they can get past old prejudices and be something akin to friends after the war so you played into my strengths there.
I thought you used a good amount of description and dialogue to really balance the flow and paint a rounded picture.
I didn't spot any SPaG mistakes in your work either so it's better than mine!

So the amount of triads I ship is really small, but you've actually written this really plausibly so that's good in my book.
{the Weaslette} I can't explain it but this just got to me in the best way.
I feel like their insertion into Draco's life (per the summary) was paced just right. It never seemed too fast or too slow, which was good as pacing can be really hard sometimes.
Overall, you have me thinking of triads in a new way. :)

Can I pretend that very last section doesn't exist? If I can then I absolutely adored this, like so, so much. the closest I come to being on board with triads is when it's all flirty and good intentions but then it isn't actually shown them being together, so up until the very end, I was so very on board with this fic.

I don't have the words to explain how and why I love this fic so much. There are just so many things
that I'm like YASSSS while reading it. Like all of the characterisation, and the way Draco reacted to them, and the slow realisation that he actually enjoys their company without it being a conscious decision... just you did everything so perfectly. You've done everything I love in a dark/light character pairing with the developing and it being slow and steady but also so sudden.

I only noticed one error (whether that's because there were none or because I was too engrossed in the fic I don't know... although it was prebably just because it made me laugh)

Okay, I'll admit that I'm not generally a fan of Ginny and even less a fan of Harry/Ginny but I have to say the way you wrote this triad was so beautiful, I liked the Harry/Ginny in it. That doesn't surprise me though because your writing is always perfect!

I like that you took the time to get Draco to warm to the pair. There was no rushing into things for Draco which really worked because even before the war, Draco doesn't rush into things. They took their time, got Draco used to being around them and finally made their moves.

The progress of emotions was the same - starting with annoyance and slowly working his way up to attraction, yet he won't cheat with one of them - only to end up with both.

Your descriptions were amazing too, as always. This story is perfect.

I don't read many threesome pairings tbh, but this fic makes me want to read all of it. The characterization was amazing, and I loved how Harry and Ginny managed to squeeze their way into Draco's life in a Slytherin like way. Draco was so in character in this, I liked how he was all skeptical with Harry and Ginny entering to im his life, lol:3 the ending was so cute and this fic was so perfect. I can't criticize anything, there is literally nothing wrong with this. Well done!:3

I love how you have Draco just continuously assuming the worst, and Harry and Ginny's slow, Slytherin-like inclusion into Draco's life. I do wonder how long they had been planning this for, because having Ginny be the scout to see how welcoming Draco would be is pretty clever :P

Draco trying to fit in with the change in the wizarding world is amusing as well - mostly because he's pretty bad at it, and seems to have trouble breaking out of his old habits. The attention Draco pays to the Gryffindor table feels very much like canon too, which I really liked.

I admit, I've never thought about this trio pairing before; which is weird since I like Drarry and Drinny. I think the only thing that could have made this better would be to throw Hermione in the mix too. XD This was wonderfully written, and you got the emotions and descriptions spot on and they were amazing. I like how you captured the essence of Harry and Ginny just slowly creeping in on Draco, and then its BAM. Everything just hit Draco in the face and he loved it. XD Great job! I love this!

When Draco first called Ginny "the Weaslette," I burst out laughing. And then the way Draco stopped himself from thinking of Hermione as "mudblood" was very perfectly done! You wrote him so in-character, with his hilariousness and obliviousness and it was wonderful!
And then comes Ginny, who was all cheery and sunshine, and Harry, too; I've never really thought of this pairing before, but you somehow managed to make the dynamic of two "idiot Gryffindors" (that line was perfect, by the way) and Draco Malfoy work out brilliantly.

I fucking love triads I really do love them. I always forget how much I do until I read a brilliant fanfic and then I fall in love all over again. The characterisations are literally perfect, especially Draco, the secretly stubborn and angsty lil snake. I love his little asides as he starts to like them. Just I really really really enjoyed this! It was a beautiful little eighth year fic. Great job xx
