As for my thoughts so far.

With the beginning.. lets say things are a bad start for Red Eyes there..(I will talk more about Red Eyes later.)

For the other parts, I find it cool how in chapter 4, Kaiba made a Bakugan reference by calling the Vagabound a "Dan Kuso hippy". Wonder if we will see more Bakugan references?

Since in here apparently things are more "realistic" with the monsters getting destroyed, would this be like with the Arc System in Arc-V where the monster feels everything(including death) and its spirit is in the vessal there(even if they don't want to) in duels like in Shadow Duels but without magic?

I wonder how would things be handled with the out-of-area cards being included like Wonder Balloons and Wall Of Disruption(both Arc-V era cards)? Like wonder how much concern that can be.

This evil Vagabond is freaking hilarious! Kaiba and the others better watch out, because they might just get slapped with the 1-card challenge. LMAO Maybe you should also include the Vagrant as his underling.

BTW, I'm pretty sure they will make Tristan a real duelist to use. Since his cards are probably not too overpowered and he is apparently in high demand (and he is highly hilarious during duels XD), I can see him getting in. I just wish they would hurry up and give us Marik Ishtar and Zane Truesdale already!

Sorry about what happened to your friends. I have relatives in Florida, and even though they weren't around the shooting, it was still scary when I first heard about it.

Now the rest of the Yugi team is in Duel Links! It looks like the Vagabond is evil! It would be cool if you found a way to incorporate the character skills into this story.

Oh, s***! It's the Vagabond! XD I laughed at Kaiba's comments about him. Especially when he referred to him as Mario's long-lost cousin! The Vagabond actually reminds me of Red from some of the Pokemon games. Super strong, red clothes and baseball cap, and almost no dialogue. Are they really gonna get deleted? Uh-oh...

This was great! I laughed so frickin' hard when I read all of that "Your move!, YUGI-OOH!, It's time to d-d-d-duel!" stuff! Figures that it takes Kaiba less than five minutes to find Atem as soon as they get there. After all, he probably made this whole game just to duel Atem again. Lol. I like how the duel disks resemble the Duel Orbs. That was a nice touch. And I love how you included some of their dueling lines from the game. It is even funnier to see them in a story format! Poor Atem and Yugi with having to learn about Duel Links' rules! I will admit that I believe that the lack of Main Phase 2 is one of the more frustrating things in the game. I wonder how Exploder Dragon got there? Was it Mokuba trying to give his bro a hand so that he will finally stop trying to duel Atem if he wins? Or someone much more sinister at work here? Can't wait to read more!

I don't know if Egyptians were the first to make mirrors, but they did have mirrors, made of copper or bronze :) The author's notes in the narration and pronunciation guides were a little distracting, but I'm really interested to see where this goes!

This story has a neat premise! I found the juxtaposition between the narrative format and the script format a bit jarring, though, as well as the inclusion of the theme song XD
