Reviews for The Fox and Bunny War
Cimar of Turalis WildeHopps chapter 21 . 5/23
A great epilogue for this story and this was very enjoyable to read! Very nice work on this story and I think this is the perfect epilogue for them. I wonder where things will go for these two. :) Again, love this story and good work!
Cimar of Turalis WildeHopps chapter 20 . 5/12
Whew, glad that the war could end before Judy and Nick got their tails blown off. Lucky break with that staredown and a great chapter!
J Shute chapter 21 . 5/11
A nice short wrap up. Nice job.
Vince Fangway chapter 21 . 5/10
I must say, it was a rather bittersweet ending.
Regardless, I feel rather satisfied with it. That last scene was really good, showing that even if things look grim today, there's still a future if you are willing to keep going.

Thank you for writing this story and concluding it, since I know it took a lot of work and time. I had a lot of fun with it. Hell, if I recall correctly, I even proof-read some chapters years ago, haha. I might even re-read it in the future just to bring back a good memory.

aomagrat chapter 20 . 5/4
The fox version of "Shock and Awe" was a success.
J Shute chapter 20 . 5/4
Well, that was... quick, to say the least. I was expecting more fox & bunnies and war in the fic about the fox bunny war but...

Hmmm, it could certainly set up a sequel where the pair go on black ops or peacekeeping missions together. If Judy stays in the forces that is.

And lol, looked like the wolves bit off more than they could chew before being outfoxxed. Despite the abrupt ending, good chapter.
Vince Fangway chapter 20 . 5/3
Well, that was rather...antyclimatic? I was not expecting this fic to end this way, but I had lots of fun reading it nonetheless.
The war was won thanks to massive missile bombardment to strategic locations in other to cripple the enemy. Sounds about right.
Cimar of Turalis WildeHopps chapter 19 . 4/12
Oooh, I wonder who their VIP could be. And some great use of tactical and military knowledge in this chapter. I really enjoyed reading this chapter.
Sandsstill chapter 19 . 4/6
Nice to see your stories coming back Joe!
aomagrat chapter 19 . 4/6
What are those fargin sneaky bastage wolves up to?
J Shute chapter 19 . 4/6
Hmmm. And it seems that the wolves are up to something. They had an absolute tactical advantage previously, and I'd have kept their advance up, making sure that they kept the initiative.

So... They may have been far lighter in this sector than we were led to believe, choosing to hold back when they saw the paratroopers (unless they were stretched thin, I'd have kept up the advance, knocking the troopers out as they were still disorganised and reforming after the drop). This would suggest that their main advance is in another sector, and the coalition troops here are at risk of being cut off.

Alternatively, there's a bridge or something they intended to cross, which has been blocked or knocked out.

Finally, linking in with the above, they presumed that they had complete air superiority. The sudden arrival of the vulpine air forces has spooked them, commanders somewhere along the line choosing to hold back in sheltered areas (e.g. forests) while they try and bring up A-A guns, before using them to cover more focussed advances.

If the latter is the case and what has been found, a sudden advance by the coalition to break through the lines and seize the guns could scupper the wolves plans and encourage an initiative seizing advance.

All very interesting.
J Shute chapter 18 . 4/4
Oh dear, poor Logan. He didn't make it in this universe. Nick nearly didn't either. To paraphrase Neville Bells: 'Nick's bloody lucky you can't shoot strait, Judy'.
