To me it doesn't whatever its an Mpreg or an surrogate, but if you go with surrogate honestly i would of prefer an stranger. If i had to chose between the three, Suki probably would be the best.

Surrogate. I like MPreg just fine, but I’m not sure how you would get it to fit in the world of Avatar.
Never Azula. She is defective. You don’t add defective back into the gene pool if there is any other possibility. Katara could surrogate, anyone else could surrogate before Azula.

After binge reading all the Last Airbender fics in Ao3, now trying on FFnet and your fic is the first I clicked. I knew it from ao3 but I really loved your fic so I figured to review it .

Question: mpreg in the future? Doesn’t mater to me if u go that route or not. Or implied that it’s possible. With Katara comment in that one chapter, my thought goes to Zuko-prego side unless you go to the route of Spirit blessed Sokka.

Now the route this may take: follow the two lay cat and mouse through the episodes in canon? Sokka getting captured or left behind and Zuko adds him to the crew? What about Fire Nation citizen Sokka? Lol like so many ways you can do this and I can’t wait to read more later :)

Hahaha, the amount of glee this concept brings me can only be described as unholy. And so far you're really doing this idea justice! The timing of Zuko's "wait, this is that boomerang douchebag!" moment was just *kisses hand like an Italian chef* MWAH.
Whether this turns into a monstrous, deep political epic or a shorter, more people focused fic, I'm greatly looking forwards to reading on!

While this is a little to early to say everything looks pretty good however I wonder if this will turn into a generic fire nation spends time with water tribe and eventually changes ideal fic or into something entirely of your own?
