This was so sweet. One of the things I love so much about these characters together is that the show always eluded to more depth and things going on in the background in their relationship than what was shown on screen, and it made them believable. I could definitely picture something like this happening. Thanks for writing :)

honesty i don't ever leave reviews anymore (i don't like leaving anons and i hate logging in), but this was ridiculously in character i loved it.
the things that stuck to as really in-character and just super great:
- his offer to make a sandwich "along with his own" because he knows she doesn't like handouts
- sweet kitty. i love kitty. she's so sweet and motherly while also menopausal.
- jackie's talkativeness in an attempt to cover up everything

i just. there's so much. good job!

How sweet and in character! I can totally picture Hyde doing and feeling everything you describe. I agree with one comment below, why on earth had the writers to destroy such a a beautiful and mature relationship?

:3 AWWWW. That just was food for my heart. I feel all warm and fuzzy from reading that. Seriously. Such a heart-warming read. Hyde and Jackie aren't overally angstly and dramatic, but you got Hyde's personality so that I get he's worried fo Jackie. Reading this reaffirms what I think of the 8th season of that 70's show. Why the hell would the producers end this pairing?

Hyde/Jackie forever.

This was so emotional, sweet, but full of depth at the same time. Poor Jackie. I always felt so bad she and Hyde both had to know the pain of abandonment. I like how you point out they use the same tone of voice when they convince other people they're fine when they're really not. I also like Hyde remembering when Eric had to spell it out for him that his mom was not going to come back and how he can't bring himself to say those words to Jackie. Going and getting her a sandwich, listening to her, tickling her-it's all so caring and so tender and I'm so glad she tells him again that she loves him. He needs to be reassured once in a while. This was just so sweet, really. Good job.

This was beautiful. The characterisation was spot-on and I loved their little banter and the Hyde and Kitty interaction.
