| wansue.gm chapter 7 . 3/5/2019 Gods, am I in agreement with you about the romantic love and how it eats all the important parts about the plot in many fics. Sometimes I read ones that are super promising but... where is the character development, where is the facts that conduct the argument, why is there just a 2D relationship where the character that travelled back in time isn't even in consonant with him/herself? Like, I love that you want character X (that just got out of a war where he/she saw his/her closest and most beloved people die in from of him/her) to be happy at his/her new chance, but, hello, where is the stress, the fear of that war coming back, the survivor's guilt resultant of being left to live where others didn't, the realization that is surrounded by living corpses... That simply doesn't let anyone just bounce back and being able to love, to trust someone else or even trust that they won't die. |
