I enjoyed your story. I’m happy Harry got away from the Dursleys and found a loving family. I found Julian and Evangeline really interesting. I’m so glad Sirius and Remus were saved. This is the only story I’ve ever seen where only Dumbledore is evil, well except for Voldemort and his Deatheaters. Usually some Weasleys and Order members are with him. I don’t ship Hr/He so thanks for barely touching on that...I found this in a community for mpreg and expected Harry would be the one expecting. I only regret the lack of Draco and that he didn’t get the chance to to change as well.

This was great reading!

I enjoyed this but was left with the feeling you get after eating McDonald's. Satisfied for a few minutes and then wondering what's next. There were so many avenues this could have taken but didnt. Such a shame as it could have gone on to be a brilliant story. In saying that, I enjoyed it as it was very different to the regular Harry abused stories. Just wish it had taken some of the many directions it promised.

Good ending. It's tough to say whether Dumbledore was evil or just completely insane. I lean toward evil when I consider that he wanted to trap Harry back with the abusive Dursleys. However, I suppose I could make a (very weak) case for him just being so crazy that he refused to believe he could have made such an error. After all, if he was wrong about the Dursleys, what else was he wrong about? Since he couldn't believe HE was wrong - EVER! - then everyone else had to be.

I will always wonder one thing: When Demon finally reclaimed the Cloak and the Wand and then dealt Albus his punishment, did he use those six little words Dumbledore loves so much?

"The little man clocked Sirius and Remus and gave the two a smile." I don't understand your use of "clocked." Literally, that sentence would mean he timed them at a task or a race. The only slang usage I know for "clock" as a verb is to punch someone in the face or head, hard enough to knock him down ... and possibly out.

Whoa! I like Rose! She is no pushover, and she is obviously very familiar with Dumbo's modus operandi. I confess, I am also eager to see how Snape responds to Julian.

At least Harry/Ebony has a strong support network behind him, watching his back. He's not going to be a clueless little orphan who can be pushed around this time. Sirius and Remus - both of whom may now move freely out in the open, especially with Remus being cured - aren't going to take attempts to control Harry too well, and they have some pretty strong backup behind them.

I think Dumbledore may have to learn the word "No," especially having it used to him.

I hope McGonagall behaves like she should, as a friend of James and Lily. I hate when she is nothing more than cipher who says and does just what Dumbledore tells her to do, allowing Harry to be the whipping boy of the school in general and Snape in particular. I like fierce McGonagall, who uses her intellect and formidable talents to protect her students and is more than willing to rip Dumbo a new one, as needed.

I wonder which Minerva we will see here?

Now ... is Ollivander a blabbermouth, and will he inform Dumbledore about Ebony and Evangeline? More to the point, does he know that Ebony is Harry? Does McGonagall? The look she gave Harry/Ebony suggests she either recognizes him or thinks she does. Will she mention having seen harry, or will she keep it under her pointy hat?

I worry about Harry at Hogwarts, under the control of Dumbledore. Of course, I guess Julian will figure a way to protect him. I hope.
