Good story so far. If the Mindflayer ever DID get ahold of El, it would be the end of the human race.

Hello there!
I must say, this pair together has certainly, how shall I put it... Ah, broadened my horizons.
I have to admit, I thought about the same things during the part of ' If I go crazy too, we'll both go crazy together, right? Right '
While I do love the story so far, I feel as if the plot is a bit... Rushed. As if you're struggling to get inspired.
To make it a little better, I'd spend time more on building the character.
I know it might seem a bit odd but it really helped if you just make a list of all the little quirks and oddities of your character, little random ideas.
For example if you were using Will it could be like:
- He once wanted to have long hair
- His favorite color is sea green because it's the color of the sea glass Mike found and gave him a while ago
- He started drawing mostly because he wanted to better at something than the others
- He was always a shy child

Things kinda like that make you feel s little closer to the character.
Other than that, love the story so far, keep up the good work :)
