Platrium chapter 15 . 5/22/2019 This is really the end for Season 1. I can tell you copy-pasted the AN questions. XD I guess I don't have to answer them again. :P I can tell that the format is very familiar. XD Makes me miss writing the ending of a season. I like how your results look more Wikipedia, because you can tell mine were more spreadsheet. XD Yay party! I like how you added that and the audition tapes. We got to see a sneak peek of one of teams for Season 2, and that seems really exciting! Will they last long or not? Makes me curious too. Also, same with I wanna focus more on the new season than on the extra scenes. Winners interview... the winners had quite a ride! I guess that's all I gotta say. Excited for Season 2! Playing it cool, Platrium |
Platrium chapter 14 . 5/22/2019 Dang... I won't say if I got my predictions right or wrong, but I'm glad they won. Any of the 3 teams were actually decent for the win. That was a TAR18 reference right there at the end! ;) I've done references too, haha. I'll keep it short, so I'll answer questions, and I hope I'm not too late. Overall, the race was fun and great! I dunno how else to elaborate, but I probably mentioned what I liked and disliked in past reviews. I've already answered this somehow? I'll add Looney Toons for fandom though. It seems fun to grab a pair from there. :3 I wouldn't really count out anybody in terms of being deserving. Everybody deserved it. Some just had poorer luck or made bigger mistakes at some point. Oh gosh, I'm late for bonus scenes hahaha. I don't think I have a special request though? Maybe an interview with the winners, but I dunno haha. You're gonna have to forgive me because I don't remember all the legs. XD I'm gonna say Leg 1, because it was NEL and I liked having a lot of teams scrambling around. They had to make a food or drink iirc, for the roadblock. So yeah, that was fun. I'm too late for this, right? XD I also don't have particular questions to the racers. Well... maybe I do? XD I would've asked if they wanted to race again, but we'll see it eventually when we get an all-stars season. Returning racers... I'd say 2nd, 5th, and 6th placers, mainly because... if I say it, I might spoil something, hahaha. Excited for Season 2~ |
Platrium chapter 13 . 5/21/2019 Concept? I'm not sure what you mean specifically, but we can chat that over Discord if you'd like. Competitors - I gave suggestions of fandoms in the other review. There could be a lot of possible pairs just from P&F alone, but if it were me, I'd pick just one pair. Then another pair from another fandom, and so on. I think I suggested enough? XD Don't wanna hog the whole story with my requests hahaha. The menthol candy part was funny! XD Yeah, they were cooling down for a moment. 8) I like how we have a 2nd memory task! TAR27 had three mini memory tasks iirc. It was neatly done. Here, it may not be mini, but at least there's a 2nd one. This one would require more memory if you ask me, because I would be able to recognize the flags on the shirts. It's just that the crowd would be an obstacle to the task. This one, it's pure memory, but I think it's harder! Has the actual TAR done this memory task? I don't remember it. What a fitting thing to say for the topic of memory task. XD Now it's just attention to detail! Oh, and if it were me, I would put the memory tasks at the end of the leg, but it's also possible for memory tasks to be at the beginning like this. It's more of my opinion putting memory tasks at the end because they're harder and would cause last minute placement shuffling, but it's an opinion you don't have to follow. Memory tasks at the beginning followed by unrelated tasks work fine too! Placement shuffling can still happen. I'm still on with my predictions! Now I know it was just a few hours ago, but I forgot if it actually is the order I wrote on my review. My prediction remains: 1st - Chipettes, 2nd - Wrestlers, 3rd - Best Friends. I know the next chapter is the end of the end. Lemme read it in a bit or tomorrow morning. XD I'm sacrificing some sleep for this finale hahaha. P.S. Pardon the long time gap between this review and the previous one. Got distracted by social media. XD |
Platrium chapter 12 . 5/21/2019 My prediction from my previous review is still on! I like this memory task! There's the crowd and noise that makes the task harder overall. Attention to detail is also needed for some flags, but I don't think any of the flags involved need it haha. |
Platrium chapter 11 . 5/21/2019 What I answered in the last survey were suggestions rather than actual competitors. You may have noticed that I didn't give likes, dislikes, hobbies, and such. I'll leave the competitors up to you haha. Other than that, now that we have the F3, I'm gonna go and guess that our winners are Brittany & Jeanette, followed by Luke & Karl, then Bloo & Mac. I was so close with my guess here. XD The siblings were such a team. I can see why the wrestlers U-turned them instead. Smart move tbh. I like how there were switching of placements with the speedbump and the W-turn. The tasks were too easy for the penultimate leg, but I think tasks were really easy in earlier seasons, so it's fine. Y'know, still adjusting to the race and all. I was harsher. I had teams carry a chandelier for the penultimate leg. It was between that and proving trigonometric equations. XD The cleaning one was pretty rough for a speedbump if you ask me. Speedbumps are usually easy, but we've seen hard ones. TAR20 had something that looked like it took a while to do. TAR27 also had something time-consuming. Yikes, I didn't like how the other teammate who didn't have to do the roadblock had to do it too after the first teammate did it, as a speedbump. That was pretty harsh for a speedbump if you ask me. I had a cleaning task too on the penultimate leg. It's just that it was a detour option. It was between that and a more luck-based detour. Yeah, I'm pretty harsh. XD I've been harsher in fast forwards lol. The actual TAR makes it so easy sometimes. XD I forgot to mention some drama from the last leg's end with the Chipettes. That, and the W-turn here. Wicked! If you've seen TAR Asia 5, big yikes on the penultimate leg U-turn. The one in TAR14 seemed to work well with the episode though. Here, it's a double U-turn anyway, so that's 2 teams fighting for the last spot on the F3. It's even possible for both to be in the F3, if they're both lucky. In this case, it was Bloo & Mac who got lucky. Some teams in some seasons do a speedbump, a roadblock, and both detours on the same leg. Big oof because that's a lot of time, money, and energy used up. Lucky if they survived. Enough babbling. XD I'll move on now! |
Platrium chapter 10 . 5/21/2019 Ah, a shorter leg. I was expecting this to be non-elimination, considering the number of legs remaining with the number of teams remaining. It's the reason I have never done F4 NEL. I usually have non-elimination legs when there are still a lot of teams. Ooh, the chaos. What I really like about this leg is the tasks and locations. They seem like tasks I haven't seen before. The capsule hotel was a neat addition though. The leg seemed linear, meaning the departure order from last leg made teams from the back unable to catch up. Since it's a NEL though, it's no big deal. The gaps between teams were so big though. I've done that before, and the scroll bar on the side would make readers think: Where are the teams at the back? I recently rewatched TAR5, and in Leg 4, the gap between teams were so far that the last 3 teams were shown doing tasks only on the last 8 minutes of the show. O_O I've also done that in TARP1. Half of the teams were already finishing Leg B, while half of the teams just reached the end of Leg A. Time difference between front and back packs? About 12 hours iirc. What a hassle, haha. At least in here, it's just less than an hour. I like the tasks and the locations visited here. I wonder what's up next! I hope it's not too late for me to do the survey! XD I'm gonna guess Luke & Karl don't make it to the F3. Like yeah, they had 3 wins in a row, but you'll never know if they'll make it to F3 or not. Winners... too early to tell, haha! Fandoms? Uh... Spongebob, Fairly OddParents, Phineas & Ferb, uh... Pokémon of course, hahaha. I'm pretty sure I can come up with 11 pairs just from one network alone, but of course a mix of them would be fun. There are a lot! I would throw a Pixar movie character in the mix if it were me. That's all! Moving on. |
