I love this idea so much. Having Lucy be the security person and Wyatt as the historian. Lucy seems more toughened while Wyatt seems more open. I hope you continue this.

Great chapter, Gracielinn. Continue to love the switches and continuity btw our trio and the AU team here. Wyatt's bravery in shielding Lucy feels so right, as does Lucy's double fisted badasserie that follows! Love the whole field surgery sequence, this Wyatt is not so hardened. But he's still a wise acre! Love seeing him respond to Lucy's touch the next morning. And the sparring between them-verbal and non-sparkled. Thanks so much! Hope to see more if the muse moves you.

I love that they were "brother and sister" early on, but a "couple" by Bonnie and Clyde - thanks for that reminder here :D

And I far prefer the ending you came up with rather than Wyatt sitting alone in a medical room waiting to call a cab.

On to Vegas! Wyatt was already undressing Lucy with his eyes at the sight of that cigarette girl outfit even on the real show - he'll be overtly drooling in this version, right? ;)

I so wonder what things would have been like for the two of them were Wyatt and Jessica either never together or just divorced. I mean, sparks flew in spite of him being hung up on the murder - can you imagine if they were both single and ready to mingle? Well, I suppose you can, since that's what you're going for here, albeit with the role-reversal too. Looking forward to seeing where you take those sparks, as well as the spin of the swapped roles as they head for more missions.

Loving this. All the switches between LucyWyatt are so fun! Love that they gravitate together so quickly, it would have been nice to have Wyatt be burdened by loss but still have Jess be around! So happy Wyatt got to buckle her in straight off. Looking forward to the next chapter!

I like the way you write the chapters, with more information from in betweens the scenes we saw on TV. It's also great to see Wyatt and Lucy's roles reversed, but also having them stay true to their characters. Great work!

This is such an interesting take on a role reversal between Lucy and Wyatt - but their spark is most definitely still there! Excellent job, really excited to see where this goes :)

Just finally had time to catch up on fics. This is totally an interesting spin on things. I wish that Wyatt and Jessica fighting on the show itself had only led to divorce, not her getting out of the car and getting killed. Wyatt would have been in a completely different mental/emotional place if that was the case. Lucy's outfit and sensible shoes here made me think of 'Miss Congeniality', though I'm sure Lucy looks better than Sandra Bullock did at the beginning of that :D And lol at 'Dr Sexy History Professor' because that could have just as easily been Wyatt's name for her on the real show :)
