This chapter update was like a little ray of sunshine in my inbox. This whole story makes me so happy, and I love all the clever references and interpretations of the MCU that you put in.

I think everyone needs a Sprinkles in their life to calm them down and tell them what's what. She is so cute and I love how well she has adapted to the new universe and wants Sutton to as well.

I am so curious about what it is Sutton is missing. I know she's part of the prophecy and it's pretty clear Steve was ready to serenade the 'true love' part with his little singalong if Bucky hadn't interrupted (at least I assume that's what he was starting with 'Tru- Then again that doesn't rhyme with fate...hmmmm)

Tbf though if I were Sutton I would be spending no time pondering it as I would have melted into a puddle of awkwardness with all the singing and eye contact. I 100% support her plan to hide under the banquet table. She is far stronger than me to resist that urge!

I loved the descriptions of all the dresses and royal regalia. It was so fun to imagine them all in all their splendour.

Also bless Sutton for not being able to be waited upon. Gotta respect the servants, they know everything.

I hope she feels more comfortable, even with the anxiety and her own feelings of undeservedness or worthlessness. I hope as well that Steve remembers to still be the version of him in Seattle, even with all his royal duties and the threats they are all facing. Sutton needs faces that are friendly beyond just familiarity.

Poor confused, embarrassed, oblivious Sutton! She’s in for a massive surprise:D I love your description of the finery around her, particularly the clothes. I love the idea of clothes embroidered with forest and hunting scenes. Also, Sprinkles is quite the delightful companion! I love her commentary!

I'm screaming about Steve! STEVE! That would have probably been the WORST POSSIBLE WAY for Sutton to find out she's his True Love! For him to just ANNOUNCE it to a whole room FULL OF PEOPLE oh my gosh. There is no version of that that would have gone well. Sutton might have spontaneously combusted on the spot. I love him, but he is so dumb sometimes. Thank goodness Bucky stopped him. Bucky and Sprinkles are the real MVPs of this story, honestly.

But now I'm thinking Steve doesn't realize just HOW oblivious Sutton actually is when it comes to his feelings. And to be fair, he's not being subtle about it at all. It's gonna be hilarious when he realizes she genuinely Doesn't Get It. Gah, I love them. I love your writing, and you. This update was a pure delight!

Another great chapter! I truly laughed out loud when Sutton said he was built by a brick house and Bucky's IMMEDIATE response was "oh so you're into him" I cackled. I'm like 5 paragraphs in and I can't stop smiling. That opening line. Sprinkles! Two towering men. It feels like you are having "fun" writing this fic which is definitely making me have more fun enjoying it. (Not that your other writing doesn't, but I think AUs tend to be a little more carefree...does that make sense? haha) I love how easily you make Steve and Bucky fit into this.
