This needs work, though not a crazy amount. First off, you need to start separating dialogue and stop putting everyone's lines in one big paragraph. It doesn't flow well in its current form.

Speaking of flow, that's another problem. Your pacing is not good, and the story flows poorly because of it. You jump from one event to another, and nothing has as much impact as it should. Even though this is just a one-shot, you can still take time out to move from scene to scene more naturally.

I hope you don't take my criticism too harshly. I've found that most reviewers won't bother to throw out constructive criticism, or they themselves may not recognize a lot of mistakes, but it leads to a writer failing to grow. Growth should be a key goal of any writer, even one who sticks with fan fiction.

Great start to the Bwen relationship, going in my favorites now.
I hope you decide to continue but if not it's still a great one shot.

I loved it!
The letter was so sweet and so truthful. I can see Gwen thinking those things, but being too shy to say it out loud for Ben.
I also really liked the partnership between Ben and Gwen, and Ben going feral when Vilgax hurt Gwen. I'm guessing you're going with your headcanon that Ben is actually a Loboan right?
The ending, with Ben giving Gwen a kiss on the cheek, was super cute.
Amazing one-shot.
