Wow...I just love this series. And it is official, it has taken me EXACTLY 1 day to read both NA and ROC in direct sequence, no pauses. Yes, I'm insane and have crazy fast reading skillz...

Kan't wait to read TOD! This series is UBER Amazing! Deffinetley telling my friends about this trilogy.. Love how Bit's off his rocker, that's how he should be.

I was listening to some various anime themes during this chapter, and there's a couple that REALLY suit sections of the chapter:

For Bit's slaughter, I recommend 'Wheel of Destiny' by See-saw,

and for the Vega/Kale flashback/fight section, it works well with 'Sasuraibito' (I don't know who it's by, but it's from Zoids, apparently)

Awsome series, can't wait for the third to come out. I like what you've done with the characters, and how you introduced the original characters into the main plot. Will the third be the final in the series, or will there be more?

And how much sanity did you whore out to this project? Nevermind, the number would be too large for my mind to comprehend. Your new method of writing the liger in combat is effective, a much easier read. I'd make some sarcastic remark about Kyle getting the leading role, but I'm afraid that my sarcasm glands would explode. Anyways, between the after-math of the Hellwalker battle, Vega's long awaited return to the battlefield, and Bit bitching some more of Rommel's forces, I'd say its a good end to Reign of Chaos. I can't tell you how much I have enjoyed this story. It is brilliantly done, and inspiration to get off my ass and finish a god damned story. If you ever go professional, I would seriously look forward to reading your works. Congrats on a great story. I highly anticipate the arrival of Tides of Darkness.

A: An intense, gripping plot where the sh*t hits the fan so often that we need a permanent cleaning crew. Villains are wonderfully evil and the characters are beautifully rounded. And a great controversy for a while on Chapman's affiliation. Bonus points for Al and being brave enough to kill so many people. And as far as I can see, it's cliche-free.
You have done an excellent job on this, Sh33p. Tides of Darkness is bound to be just as if not more impressive than this. I look forward to seeing how our heroes and villains will fare in TOD. Till then!

I'm not going to discuss the chapter in detail because there's nothing I found that felt wrong or didn't fit. It all seemed perfect. Whatever your doing, keep it up.

Assuming the italics and the like are already in it and you have Word, have it HTML-ify the thing, and then open it in Wordpad and use find-replace to clean up Word's sloppy HTML. It's easier than adding five million paragraph breaks, imo...
And yay for Holst's The Planets, for it makes a good soundtrack to almost anything. I rarely have anything on the lists.
Good writing on the battle-scene-of-doom...those things are so hard to do without getting repetitive, especially if focusing on a ceratin style, like high-speed battle or fighting a Seismo gone wrong. The only really tiny nitpicky thing I noticed is that you tend to use "synthesized (sound)" to describe Shadow Fox noises a lot.

Don't take this the wrong way, but I'm glad to see that you updated because I was afraid the US Homeland Security hauled you away (my friend and I were talking about the time she mentioned breaking into the Pentagon on IM and her comp. shut down from a third party). With all the stuff you do to these people, it's a wonder they haven't tried to commit you or something. And yes, I am insane and quite proud of it too. I pride myself on having deep intellectual conversations (that usually end with the mental equivalent of computer parts flying around) with the schizophrenic voices I call muses. And I'm glad to see you could find some of my crazy ideas plausible. My sister still thinks I'm nuts.
*munches on cookie* Now, as for this, I pity your poor fingers. The writing itself is long, detailed, and incredibly emotional, ensuring that all of us will have a nice ten or so hours of reading this. And adding in the HTML... *shakes head* Bet that hurt. FFN constantly screws up my Microsoft Word HTML, and I don't know how how to do regular HTML yet, so I respect anyone who can pull off a story of this length with virtually no errors. And though we only had one of the Big Four, I was desparately trying to figure out who it would be. I thought Marcus there for a while, but he's just too stubborn to die. Nice touch with him thinking he heard Harabec at the end. That was cool. And there is no possible way to describe the battle with the Hellwalker. It was just too staggering.
Gah! *stretches* That was one heck of a chapter. The 90 kb chapters are really satisfying, but they really cause me to cramp up while I sit here. I *should* take them a little at a time, but it's just not fun that way. *yawns and stretches* Anyway, I'll be waiting for the next. Till then!

Shit. Well worth the extended wait for the update (heh, rhyme). The battle was much easier to understand this time around. I suppose the adding of personality to the Hellwalker contributed to this. Hearing Bill and Henry go at it was oddly refreshing (but hey, maybe I'm just weird).
Hm, I wonder what the black shield liger is for? More importantly, is it really a good thing that Layon is interested in it?
The Kid is funny. Ok, great chapter, I hate you for fucking with my head, but its worth reading this story. I'm gonna go sleep and hopefully get healthy again.
