OOF, okay, so this is absolutely fantastic! Like, whoa. I love Morgana and Merlin, and Morgana is just so good and SHE'S GOING TO BE GOOD FOREVS BECAUSE IF SHE'S NOT IMMA CRY MULTIPLE TIMES LIKE WHAT EVEN NO, DONT YOU DARE, YOU HAVE GIVEN ME HOPE! Awwwwww Morgause and Morgana :( noooooooo that friend line, that gave me the feels like, Morgana, no! :'''''( it hurts, this story hurts, I hurts, we all hurts, why throwing those feels man? Why those feels?

Okay, but I srsly can't wait for the next update, I was really excited for something as I was reading and finishing this chapter(I don't remember what anymore though lol XD) but it was something good and I can't wait to see what you do with whatever it is I'm excited about XD

So, FYI, I absolutely love it! Like, it's so good! Is Merlin going to reveal his magic to Morgana or is it just gonna be going on until it finds out? And I don't mean rn obviously, I mean, like somewhere in the near(ish) future? Or? I mean, cause Idk. So much could happen! All these possibilities!(no, not the song I was just say - ugh nvm (XD A Cinderella story: Once upon a song ;) you get my drift? Eh? Ehhh?))

Now onto the chapter! Damn gurl I'm so happy you churning them out at a fast rate that's hella impressive

The scene between Merlin and Morgana was so beautiful :') The way you're building them up slowly, bit by bit, it's exactly the type of slowburn I love. How even after her s1 detour to save his village, he's surprised by her wanting to help with dinner, cause he can't wrap his head around how this gorgeous highborn lady could be this KIND and CARING. And Morgana, my sweet unstained by horrible writing Morgana, she shines through here, her humor, her warmth, her compassion.

And then Arthur had to open his mouth lmaooo, "had your fill of staring at her" I MEAN YOU STARE AT MORGANA ENOUGH TOO ARTHUR SHE'S TOO BEAUTIFUL YA'LL KNOW PEOPLE CAN'T HELP BUT STARE

I loved them laughing at his expense and also Morgana teachin him how to help himself FOR ONCE

However, I also gotta mention my boy's merits, Arthur was incredible in the second half of the chapter. His inner conviction, his resolve to stick to his words, see Arthur has many great qualities in him that is needed in a potential king, but his father and MERLIN never let him live upto that full potential. cause in these small moments on the show you see him shine through, and I think Morgana, tho torn and conflicted, can appreciate that

also you know I love my girl Morgause, I think you nailed her and Morgana's first interaction. The hurt, the confusion and the unknown kinship

the secret reveal was even more painful than in the show, I loved how Igraine didn't mince words and once she gave in she let it out and I can only imagine how Arthur, Morgana and Merlin will react to this news in your fic

(also the 'i bet you keep gorlois on his toes' made me WEEP i love them so much, best paternal relationship on this gaddamn show, I really hope he somehow makes another appearance in this lovely fic)

Also that moment when he got lost in her eyes! Same Merlin same, I mean she has the most beautiful eyes it's so easy to drown in them ajhsjhdkakja (and then that tiny rush of magic!)

ARMOR! Okay you know how much I love their banter, and you nailed it to a TEE here. "Not that it functioned well to begin with" LMAO what a burn, were aloe veras available in those medieval days, cause prince arthur might need some

"A little bird told me" I love this usage for Merlin's name :D (and also the fact that you pointed out how Arthur constantly hitting Merlin and being played for laughs is in fact not funny and as Gana put it, even barbaric and rude AF)

Morgana's outburst tho, ~ slow claps ~ It needed to be said, and Arthur needed to shut up and listen for once in his life so I'm glad he did. (Him thinking about Merlin's hopeless crush on Gana was a nice touch tooo)

I AM SO EXCITED FOR THE NEXT PART! The travelling will be so much and then the actual meeting with Morgause! I can't wait love! Happy writing :D

Yeah, it was disappointing how their bond kind of went out the window but I don't put it all on romance. I think part of it was Morgana began to distance herself from Arthur when she learned about her magic. Arthur was so focused on becoming a good king, his feeling for Gwen, and just his general lack of perception to some aspects of people that he didn't see the distance growing. However, there still is a lack of focus on their relationship.
