Reviews for What Makes a Family
Susan8876 chapter 1 . 5/10
This is so good. I want to read more.

love it
Zaria Lianna chapter 1 . 11/24/2018
this was adorable and I loved it.

I do kinda wish though that William learned about his daughter, maybe he tries to fight for custody and loses in an utterly embarrassing display of incompetence on his part.
Moffintops chapter 1 . 7/13/2018
Oh. My. God. This is the most adorable thing I've ever read! Liza is so cute. I wish we could see more of the Reid siblings.

I love this! Reid as a father is adorable and I loved that the team is so supportive. I’d definitely enjoy a sequel, especially something with William Reid.

Annoying tourist chapter 1 . 10/30/2017
I know it's an unpopular opinion, but I think it's kind of selfish of Reid to not want the authorities to take his little sister away if their living conditions at home were so bad... then again, children aren't exactly known to make rational decisions.

This is a fantastic story and I look forward to reading more.
Cherubim chapter 1 . 10/28/2017
Congratulations! You have just written the MOST heartwarming story ever.
kkbest chapter 1 . 10/25/2017
I really want to thank you for this oneshot, I like both the seriousness and the fluffiness ).
I really like you way to include the sister, in a very realistic way and without the "another genius with iq of 200".

I hope you post another story like this.
Womenreligiousfan chapter 1 . 10/24/2017
That's pretty good. You did a good job trying to stop stigma and educate. I honestly hate how long she is institutionalized in the show, but you handled things well.
Guest chapter 1 . 10/23/2017
Finally, a legitimate, well-written, Reid has a sibling story with characters that stay true to the show and that concentrates on Spencer. i found this story amazingly insightful, with characters, thoughts and interactions that were altered by circumstance, yet still remained similar to themselves on the show. Moreover, I like how you used Liza as a catalyst for Spencer's growth, showing it in how he felt uncomfortable with Gideon profiling his sister and in how he chose to ask Hotch to care for Liza in the event of him being injured or killed in the field. Finally, you placed the blame for William Reid's actions squarely on William Reid's shoulders. The show made it out to be not such a big deal, and speaking from experience, there can be no justification for leaving a minor with a severely, mentally ill parent as the only caregiver. What Emily said, at least you had 10 good years, was so unfeeling and so laughable, because there can be no forgiveness for placing that kind of responsibility on a child. Morgan's speech and his rightful anger was how the entire team should have responded, not that tripe that Emily spouted or what the show dished out regarding why Mr. Reid left. Thanks for allowing us fans to read this story. I hope you will write those one-shots, and I hope you might consider making this into a longer story, because it is so amazing. I most definitely can't wait to read more of your stories.
