I really like how it comes through in Wyatt's behavior that he turns up at Lucy's lecture for a reason although he isn't very forthright at first - OK, he is annoyingly reticent! ;) - but how it is clear to the reader and eventually Lucy before Wyatt opens up. And then there are still some surprises to come that we couldn't work out, how Wyatt has given things some thought.

The apple picking with Jiya and Rufus would have made a very entertaining fic, what you've included is entertaining. I was looking forward to a quinoa salad, but now I want apple pie instead, thanks a lot... ;)

Lovely storyline! It is very Wyatt to talk himself out of something and Lucy like to convince him otherwise (Alamo scene is an excellent example). I can see that happening in season two if they every try to clear the water on the possibilities everyone is so patiently waiting on. Great job!

I absolutely LOVED this. What a great spin on Wyatt coming to see Lucy in Professor mode. And their talk about them just made me smile. It was so very real and so very in-character. They'll definitely figure it out. And I'm sure they'll figure it out in the show too. ;) Whenever we get there...

Nice touch with the last three things there from the ice cream melting, to Rufus half-believing their alternate timeline joke, to a "honeymoon." Loved it! :D

ASKLFSMNJDS SO CUTE. You have no idea how much I adore new material from you. Your writing is just *sigh* perfection. Wyatt was mega cute in this fic, because obviously he's always mega cute, but this side of him was just unbelievably precious. I love the way you crafted this scenario, because he never came across as being *just* insecure about his place in Lucy's life - there was this underlying seriousness to everything he said and did that showed just how much he valued her (like staring at her nameplate on her door for like ever, how adorable). This wasn't selfish of him or self-pitying. He sees everything - her talent, her passion, etc. - and know that she deserves the best of the best (silly guy just wasn't seeing that he's the best for her, duh). And even for someone who was increasingly unsure about whether or not this was really going to be a date, he still had me swooning every step of the way with his chivalrous date-like behavior. And the ridiculous hypothetical leaps they were making on the park bench were hilarious and adorable all at once! Then all of the out of control handsy-ness from that point forward was wowww spicy. Loved it. Kudos to Lucy for continuing to push the envelop in both conversation and physical action to get him to talk it out & get over that hump ;) I want to gush over basically every inch of this fic (FINGERS AT WAISTBANDS IN PUBLIC? RUFUS AND JIYA DRUNK AND BAKING LOL) so yeah this is a definite new fave for sure :) I'm so glad that the professor hook was enough to pull you in!
